Class availabilities, mainly.

Elves cannot be either Priests or Knights. Only Elves can be either Druids or Wardens.

Only Humans can be Knights.

Only Dwarves can be either Warlocks or Champions.

Otherwise, and with the above limitations, you can pretty much mix and match class combos. But there are no inherent racial differences, bonuses or minuses, between the three races.

Class locks is only thing.

Humans can't be (wardens/druids/champions/warlock)
Elf can't be (Knight/Presit/Champions/Warlocks)
Dwarfs can't be (Scouts, druids, wardens, knights)

I think Dwarves can be Knights. I remember the livestream showing Champion/Knight?

No, you can not. I just tried. I can't remember the live stream but my guess it was a Champion/Priest.

One race is dirty and smelly, one is spaced out tree huggers and one is a combo - dirty smely and spaced out tree huggers.

Oh, in game... what people said. Also, some slight difference in teleport skills (Elves get elven island, nobody else does) and in quests (most of the dwarven area quests can only be done by dwarves).

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

The base stats for each race are ever-so-slightly different, but not by much.

The class you choose affects how they grow but when you reach a stage where you begin statting your equipment, this stat difference will pale into insignificance.

There's also a difference in starting areas, and thus in the set of quests one can do. Everyone has access to the human starting area. For a human or dwarf to get into the elf area requires the assistance of an elf, but once there I believe you can unlock the portal (to get back) and do the quests. The dwarf area is, I'm told, a little bit different - you can get in, with a dwarf's help, but if you aren't a dwarf yourself you wont be able to do most of the quests; I'm not sure about the portal.

None of this matters for most purposes, unless e.g. you have a goal to do the maximum number of quests, or similar.

I tried 2 humans and both had no trouble using the dwarf snoop to go to Varanas. Neither has an option to go back there from Varanas.

Which is why I took 1 of my char to the dwarf starter area.

I 've had very little running experience with dwarves but I have noticed a really cool death animation with one of my short friends.

A few times now I've seen him run ahead through a door only to be tossed back out dead.

Dwarves can fly but they need to work on the landing part :p

three additional things:

1. dwarfs have trouble looting the box at the end of nom, or similar "floating" objects/corpses.

2. the haven of departure snoop overwrites the dwarf starting snoop, thus you cant use varanas snoop to get to dwarf starting zone snoop if you have elven island snoop.

3. They are still working out bugs for dwarfs. True the other two races have bugs also, but they are not really working them out :/

Don't believe this game support polygamy. :D

I am sure that it would not be a problem to marry little guy with strange beard as game does support same sex marriage, but not sure 'bout multiple wives... :)
