Druid's Rock Protection

Besides removal of the buff and lag.. is there any reason why someone's damage would be only partially reduced and not fully reduced such as in the case of iceblades?

Last night I had an interesting experience in where I popped my Rock Protection and was recieving reduced damage from other people attacking me (99% reduction) but a P/S that was normally hitting me with 30-40k iceblades was still hitting 10k iceblades.. I'm trying to figure out exactly how it happened because it makes absolutely no sense since 10k iceblades that were reduced by 99% would mean that I was getting hit for 1m iceblades which definetly doesn't add up.

Its not just iceblade that does that, I have found that all (or most of) the elite skills or other players only gets absorbed by about 45%; thats what it used to absorb before they changed the absorb max to 99%. I guess that they forgot to change the absorb on the elites.

Well that's really lame, atleast I know that it wasn't just them, means I need to plan more accordingly based on classes, I've been using it as an oh-shit skills like immunes.

Then again though that's really something that should be fixed.
