New to the game and mmorpgs in general - help plz

I've been playing for about a week now and have my knight/rogue up to lvl 22/16. The weekend diamond sale seemed appealing and I've been wanting to buy a permanent mount so I took the plunge and picked up some diamonds. I have a couple questions about diamonds and the game in general:

1. - Whats the best thing to use diamonds for besides the obvious convieniences like mounts/storage? It seems like to me you can spend quite a bit on arcane transmutator runes and stuff if you wanted to. Is this worth it?
Basically - what should I do with my diamonds I dont want to waste my investment :)

2. - I've mostly been completing the quests and earning xp/tp while following the little storylines. I've talked to a couple people in game who say there is a lot more to it once you get to higher levels. Is there anything I can do outside of questing thats fun right now? I've heard people talk about raids/siege/dungeons but I havent ran into any of that stuff myself in game. What is there to do for someone my level besides grind xp and quest?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can provide!

Siege is very fun, but at your level you will be pretty much limited to tower hugging, or putting defenses around the castle etc. You simply won't have the HP or dps to do much else, but the siege rewards help build your character up, so it's worth going in.

Till you get a few levels higher, there aren't a lot of instances, FA and NoM are the first two 'real' instances, at 22 FA with a party and quest gear should be doable, NoM can be done with a few more levels.

Join a guild and build a network of friends, both will help you progress easier and allow you to get into more instances sooner.

Questing is pretty much what you'll be doing for a while.

Most things in the item shop is worth the investment, alot of things you can get with Phirius Tokens at the Token shop. *you get from daily quests*

Its all about what you think you'd like, and how you feel it would benefit you.
Arcane Transmutor charges you can also use Phirius Tokens to buy those.

As said before, there are dungeons you can do that will give quite a good bit of experience and TP (espeicllially if you do it with people around your level and with experience/TP potions). Will also get you accustomed to how to handle the dungeons later on in the game.

I would encourage you to not just let people run you through dungeons. It will do you less good than you think if you plan to actually do dungeons with people later on.

I dont really like to tell people how they should do this and that, i would like to let them figure that out for themselves and find thier own path.
