This, called "multiclienting" is allowed. You are correct, sir! (channeling the ghost of Ed McMahon) I hadn't considered that aspect. When I posted, it was tired and I was really late.

As I never traded any dias in AH this way, question for those who did: Is there AH fee if you post this 1 gold for 200 dias for example? Do you get your 200 dias or you get 188 dias? (iirc 6% AH charge)

Selling 1gold for about 100 diamonds would definitely be the way to do it, but do not attempt to sell your 100 diamonds for 1gold - that's just asking for somebody else to buy them in the time it takes you to relog.

errr now u have gone and confused me about it too!

can't we have a macro in the second client that targets the target of the first party member and then attack it with various skills, so all we have to do is tab shift between the clients to click the macro we want to activate then shift back to the main client to keep attacking/healing whatever and then shift back to 2nd client when the macro time of that is up to reactivate it, effectively having a party of me, myself and I to clear the instance

Switching between windows (in multi-windows environment) makes your current windows 'active', thus you should be able to control character.

Nobody answered my previous question - is there a AH fee if you sell 1 gold for 100 dias. Do you get your 100 dias or you get 94? (100 - 6 for AH charge)

Let's look at this whole alt thing this way: you have main character, LORD. Then you have many small slaves for different purpose. Each slave you assign the task, thus they better work or they will get fired. (wish the same things apply to sales and marketing department, would keep them coming with good deals like last weekend rune sale )

What can slave in game do - first of all, you need so called 'backpack' slave, one where you will send you not bound stuff.

Now as suggested earlier, you need 3 of them to collect mats. Those 3 will have to level, as collecting higher level mats require for alt to survive higher levels zone.

Now if you into making things, for example alchemy and cooking (like most everyone), main will do one, and then you need alt that will do other one. This alt has to either level, or you will have to find a way to get him to Dalanis and other places where higher level recipes are.

Once you start playing CoT you will end up with fusion stones, one worth keeping are one with 2 stats. So you create 2-stat-slave to keep those....

As you are allowed 5 accounts, you can create account leaders, so you have your main and then 4 leaders that will fulfill role of getting dias for you (per account) and after you level them, you can do dailies and play mini games on those alts. They will do this for small price of couple stated gear and some better weapon that you will get them. They might be OK with gear they get from quests. At the time you are able to solo DoD, you can farm stats for alt gear.

This is how you will use PT from your alts, as PT shop does not allow gifting, and most items you can get from there are bound.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no AH transaction fee when buying or selling diamonds there. I've sold a few diamonds for gold, but not bought diamonds for gold. However, you're perfectly welcome to give it a go yourself!

You cannot gift Item Shop products purchased with Phirius Tokens (Token Shop). That option isn't available.

That's not gonna happen. Firstly, I'm poor. Secondly, I'm not going to tell you on which server(s) I regularly play.

What I do know is that when I sold 100 diamonds @ 40K per, I received 4M gold. I don't know if the buyer was shorted any diamonds, but I was pleased to get the gold. It was quite useful.

If you want to go test that thing and report back, I won't stand in your way.

Come on Kalvan, I am sure that boss like you haz 'poor' end-game characters on all servers... Someone got to kill all that gold sellers.

Well, just for purpose of this project, I will try it tonight, sending 20 dias for 1 gold. I like to be useful and helpful to community unlike some folks with green letters in posts... :p

I made mention of other games, but I have not opened up any discussion of those games - I believe that there is the difference.
