In order to move an item to your alt you will need to unbind it (using an Advanced Bind Lifter).

the support system nowadays r so unhelpful. before FEU and Gameforge, our support system allowed us to transfer mount and wings (unstated and unplussed) to be transfered between alts on the same account, (i think it was 2 or 4 times per item only).

As noted above, you'd have to use an Advanced Bind Lifter on them to move them to and from characters. HOWEVER, any time after that, you'd only have to use a REGULAR bind lifter

If the ones you don't need anymore have decent stats, I'd recommend waiting til Advanced Bind Lifters are on sale, buy one and then sell your wings on the auction house or to someone who wants them

Where are the Little Devil's Wings or where are the Advanced Unbinders?
If you are referring to the unbinders, they are no longer permanently in the Item Shop because some top notch genius from failforge decided that being able to unbind and sell gear as people see fit was not pushing enough people away from the game, so now they are only obtainable through special sales.

Yeah, that really was a big mistake on their part.

Did they give any reason why they were removing ABL's?

I guess with ABL's removed, players are forced to go farm their own gear & stats.

That's pretty easy nowadays with Shell items & the bag stats from TB onwards.

While this is true, it also hurts the end game players. How else are we to get gold for the mass of hammers and pots you need to raid end game? Having to wait for a sale, just to sell a piece that you farmed from an instance is just sad... So many people in my guild at the moment (wtb grand golden hammer sale -.-) are at the point where they have no more resources left or cannot obtain any thanks to the complete crap that has been on sale recently. If they want to remove Adv unbinders..at least have them on sale every second weekend :/

Lets not make a conspiracy theory here, shall we? The ABLs were not available in EU shop, they were added to US shop back when we had our own local management deciding those things. Then, when we synced with EU shop, we lost them. There was no deliberate decisions made. If the situation was reversed and we never had it and EU did, we would've gotten them too.

If nothing else, this illustrates the disadvantages of having centralized authority making decisions. We get no control over things, we get <stuff> flowing our way. It doesn't matter than 95% of people dislike the choice.

Selling unlooted items seems to have tailed off over the past year - not just on US, but on EU servers too.

However, I believe the "mass of hammers and pots" has only become necessary because endgame players stat & tier their gear to such a level that instances become easier than they were intended so Runewaker needs to make the next one tougher still.
I'm not saying instances should be easy - far from it, they should be hard.
However, I also believe they should be possible without hammers & potions and that they are merely to assist people who don't quite meet the requirements for an instance to participate.

Basically, by making our gear T7 and our weapons T11, we are making it clear that we have loads of money and Runewaker will then happily increase the difficulty of the next instance to such that T8 & T12 would be required.

Anyone remember when a T6 weapon was badass?

But, at least now we can easily move diamonds between accounts (AH).
