Newbie with Diamond shop question.

Hello,

What items would you guys recommend for a newbie?

I was looking in that shop and had no idea what to buy or what anything was.

I want stuff to make my character a tad-bit stronger.

Thanks in advance!

I would say none of it. You don't need items from item shop till you are a bit higher level, 55+. That is when gearing starts. A good guild will have a bunch of hand me downs or leveling gear loaners too.

Once you are leveled a bit, the first couple items I would look at are:

1) Wings. Wings can be worn at any level, they are easy to stat, and if you plus them, you get a little bonus to combat XP/TP. Not worth it, IMO, but some people like it.

2) Mount. Be very very sure you want to play the class combo you have, because mounts are not transferable. Also wait for good mount sale. Until then, buy "horse rental tickets" on AH. They are cheap and convenient.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Best advice i can give, quest quest and more questing. under lvl 55 quest reward gear is fine 55+ is where the fun starts. If your not in a guild I suggest finding one plenty of people will to help give advice etc.

1st purchase for most would have to be a mount followed by wings. Plussing wings will give xp and tp bonus's to kills.

Housemaids hire one as soon as you can look for 100 charisma 100 inventive and get the crafting skill going, this will give you pots Unbridled gives a 15% movement speed boost for 1 hr.

Okay. How do i get more inventory slots? I am sick of running out of room.

Is there a NPC cargo place to deposit things?

I still don't have a house. How do I get one?

I'm a level 12 mage in Reni, btw.

Thanks in advance!

There is a rental button on the bottom of the backpack page looks like a clock

Talk to a house maid she has a bank space for you and a storage chest

Talk to a housemaid. One in Logar next to mailbox Varanas east/west or if your an elf the mailbox in the starting zone.

When inside your house hire a servant 200k gold its the mop icon in the top left of screen.

My equipment durability is going down. How can I restore it?

Equipment is repaired at any armor/weapon shop. Pbinfo addon, I believe, has the option to autorepair.

As far as space goes, you can't buy it. Can only rent it. Well, technically you can buy the chests to store stuff, but there are other ways of doing it

1) Learn what to keep and what to toss. Most stuff you dont need, just need to figure out that you dont.

2) Hire Housekeepers. Each has 10 storage slots and 10 equipment slots. They have lots of other benefits, learn about them before hiring.

3) Bank space, chest space, and most importantly, mule space (as in the storage alts) can help a lot.

As house goes, early in the process (Logar for humans, Elven island for elves, Morfantis for dwarves) you are given a chain of quests to familiarize yourself with the game. You get a house from one of the NPCs that the chain leads you through - namely housemaid. If your toon is not human, I recommend playing that at least to learn the game - human starting zone is organized a lot better than other races.

Well, it takes some time to learn what to sell and what not to sell, it helps to have a helpful friends in game, but also you can use runes db to find what an item is for.

At low level, drops such as magic hormones are not rare, and those sell for around 20K in ah. To get most best use of AH, make sure to download advanced auction house. Remember that OD gear, if no stats on it will sell nicely, even at low level.

Renting backpacks is essentially F2P game to make profit like regular subscription game.

What Rusty meant by mule, you are allowed to create up to 5 accounts, and on each account you can have up to 8 characters on the same server. Simply, create another account and on the same server create new character that will store all you extra unbound items.

Make sure once you create that character to get trough first couple of quests, especially one where you will get weapon and rune to upgrade weapon into +8 weapon. I did multiple characters to get OD weapon, and then later once you get into dirty stating, you can state that weapon and make it easier for alts to level.
