instance difficulty

does the level of dfficulty in instances change? Yesterday I could run entire dungeon, today i cant get close to finish. Bosses that were easily taken down now are kill me with a one shot??? How does this happen if instance is set as same as before???

Are you sure the instance difficulty is set to the mode you want? Hard mode is a LOT more difficult than Easy.

Also, check your equipment, it may have degraded.

well under my character instance has been set to easy for the past week so whether or not the instance is loading correctly is entire different thing. When entering any dungeon it always shows normal mode-this cannot be changed. And yes my equipment has been degrading thanks to random bosses being extremely easy to kill one day and one shooting me the next but all equipment gets repaired and all equipment has power modifier. They should change the golden repair hammer to upgrades equipment to power modified item because items with an existing power modifier will always have that as opposed to non-power modified items that require constant attention for a golden repair hammer.

you know i think they should add a npc calculator to the runes of magic website. The calculator would allow users to input their stats against a world or instance npc to determine if a match is even acceptable in the first place prior to wasting had earned time. the majority of higher level bosses have no information other then a roundabout level.

actually the npc i kicked butt on was goddess of the art's disciple in kalin shrine. the following day got my butt kicked over and over. His hp is 455k, mine is 19k. Chiron does 50k dps each shot and shoots first, while i do close to anywhere from 15-22k.

disciple hits are % based, so sometimes he'll pwn u, sometimes u pwn him, it depends on what skill he casts and if he completes it or not...or if he enrages and crits etc...

Yes Goddess of Art's Disciple has a few rather nasty skills you need to watch out for. Road of Thorny Vines is an attack that will drain a fixed % of your maximum HP depending on what difficulty the instance is. It generally ranges from 25-50%.

An option to prevent him from doing that is use a silencing skill or interrupt skill.

Also beware that Road of Thorny Vines gets a nasty boost when he goes into berserk mode.

Point is, no matter how high level you are, he'll still drain the heck out of your HP. All you can do is try to heal through it, wipe him before he has a chance or interrupt his casting.

There is no difficulty setting for Kalin Shrine.
