Acoount banning from advent calender

i would like to know that if i had other accounts that i did not play at the time and used my advent calender items for my main account is this a violation and if so why was this allowed to happen to begin with it seems to me that ROM does something good for a change and when we use it to benefit those player like myself that are loyal to this game and spend money on this game then ROM say oh wait you cant do that then starts banning people then doesn't even post how long the accounts will be banned for or suspended makes me want to start looking for another game to play where the player is appreciated and not crapped on like this game has become since gamforge has taken over

yes i read the thread on it i guess the logic of putting a bowl of ice cream in front of a kid then punishing them after because they ate it is a little too much for me to be able to understand

As it stands you are allowed 5 accounts. Creating 30-50 to abuse a event is bannable and they should have all gotten 30 days.

And it is totally unfair how when I go into department store and they have all kinds of cool stuff there. And they expect that all those items they have there, if I want to get them, I am supposed to pay for them? Like pay for them all?! What kind of policy is that? They put the stuff I want where I can easily steal it, and then they expect me NOT to steal it? And then if I do, and I get caught, *I* am the bad guy? WTF?

The ones I feel sorry for are the ones that got banned and never even redeemed the advent calendar. 2 players I know had there accounts banned for 7 days as one sold the other 17 daily resets form the CS the day before the bans were implemented.

I think we can all agree that there was some oversight when it came to the advent calender redeeming function. Honestly I'm surprised it wasn't caught earlier. Then again I'm pretty sure that between unlimited Reindeer cards and unlimited Daily Quest Reset Tickets, those in their right minds would choose the tickets. So it makes sense that no one thought of abusing the system until high valued items became available.

I believe I said it on another thread but I'll say it again: I'm glad that it was caught (relatively) early, smaller servers like Osha would have seen a crash in item prices if the exploit had been performed on Purified Fusion Stones or something of potentially higher value.

I just find this whole 'banning' pretty funny...I know numerous players that did exploit the daily resets and they didn't get banned while two players in particular got banned for exploiting when I know neither of them redeemed a ticket at all ^.^

Dionaea said there was a bug in the (automated?) system they devised to track and ban the accounts that redeemed excessive tickets, so your 2 friends may have been hit by that. If that's the case, then a ticket to support should resolve the situation if it hasn't been already.

Support was contacted 3 days ago and still no answer for either player. Regardless thye still been unable to play for the last 3 days when they did nothing to break the tos.
If you do that sort of thing thats 3x dailies and mini's so 420 shells that they missed out on. If they lucky they may still have the daily reset tickets they purchased.
Really a simple sorry probably isn't enough for some players... but I dont see gameforge offering anything as remittance for their mistake.

Did you make those accounts just for this calendar or did you already have them and play them before the advent calendar was introduced. If it is the former, then you deserve to be banned, so stop crying, you dirty cheat/exploiter. If it's the latter, I'm not sure if that was against the rules since I know a friend who has around a dozen accounts that she all plays (has a lvl 50+ character on each), who was not banned.

The ToS states you can only have up to 5 accounts owned by you so your friend is breaking the rules already, never mind the daily quest tickets ^.^

And if your friend has only 4 or 5 and the other accounts are not 'owned' by them, then they are breaking the tos again through account sharing >.< Even if you are not 'sharing' but the account was given to you when somebody quit etc It is still considered against tos and results in a perma ban...personal experience there -.-
