Fairie disappeared

I was doing the quest where you find the fairie in the muttering forest in weeping coast. I found the fairie but it disappeared before I could accept the quest it offered. Now I can't use the fairie compass and the bottle with the bright balls in it no longer exists. What should I do now?

If I remember correctly (and gameforge didn't messed with scripts), once you find the fairy for the first time you don't need the bottle anymore, just have compass with you to make it poup up of hide. I also took a while to read the quest and something similar happened.

The fairy hides when there are violent creatures around. If you kill the mobs nearby and stand roughly where the fairy first appeared, she will come out of hiding again.
