Message box taking up entire screen

My brother was playing on my computer and adjusted the message box to take up the entire screen, then he could not undo it. Now it looks like this. Any tips on howto fix it?

Press the curvy arrow button on the bottom left to reset it.

doesn't /reload ui reset the chat boxes and kicks you out of and removes any custom channels?

go to interface settings in the esc menu and click on the default tab on the lower left corner. note that it will reset your whole interface to the default so u might have more work to do.

Drastic indeed - simply removing the "Runes of Magic" folder inside My Documents would have fixed it.

Maybe.

I have never seen a chat box bug out like that.

And perhaps Braks has learned an important lesson:

Do not allow your little brother to play around with not only your computer, but also don't allow him to play around with your RoM game account.

Make him get his own account! :D

changes to the interface made in one account on the same computer sticks to the other accounts that r used on the same computer, thus it would matter little if his brother used the same account or not if they r sharing a computer. :p

Good point, and one that I'd forgotten.

But I'm thinking that if Braks' parents set up a separate *computer* account on the machine that the game installation on his brother's *computer* account might be separated enough from *Braks'* computer account that he wouldn't be able to screw up "Braks'* UI on his game installation. I just don't know, since I'm the only person in my household who uses my machine, and there are no secondary user accounts on it.
