In the same classes, no, they are the same. What they do have is access to different classes. Only humans can be knights or Priests. Only elves can be druids or wardens. Only dwarves can be warlocks or champions. And for some reason dwarves cannot be scouts.

Dwarves can be priests, but otherwise, yes, the race is all about the class restriction.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

And the starting area differs, but it doen'st really affect you. It is only on the first levels.
Just came back on a whole new toon :D

Dwarves cannot be Scouts since Scout and Warlock classes use the same energy pool--Focus.

Champion and Warrior both use the same energy pool--Rage. Mage and Druid both use the same energy pool--Mana. Curious why this matters?

I should think that Rage is built up and then used, then built up again with non-skill attacks (white hits) but at the start of combat, Focus is already at 100 and is depleted as skills are used. Those skills which don't require focus can be used, but Focus will rebuild more slowly than Rage would.

That's my answer and I'm sticking to it. :D

Cosmetic, starting areas, and specific class restrictions are the differences between the three races.
This of course *may* change if the game evolves into allowing races to have no restrictions.
Artemis: IGGWILV: M/P/S: M/P + P/S, LORDUTHOR: W/K/R: W/K + W/R, FENGYIKHAN: Wl/M/R: Wl/M + R/Wl
Reni: MALCANTENT: R/S/K

Hmm, OK I think I see what you're saying. Because use same pool, it would be quickly depleted and thus starved for ability enabling resources. And instead of avoiding this by pricing the skills or making skills that don't need the pool (see W/C paying in HP instead of Rage), designers just didn't make the class. I can believe that.

Was the primary reason that I switched my toon from C/W to C/R, lol.
