daily quests

why do did they take away the number of channels for world daily quests? was it because they wanted to encourage everyone not being able to do a daily quest and everyone going around pking everyone? I want someone from the mentor, gm, moderator, or another high ranking "official" to formally respond to this question. ty

Heh, yeah... good luck with that.

You MIGHT get a mentor response if you're lucky :P

The channels are allocated for zones that are used most. Since your question does not even bother to mention which zone you are talking about, OP, chances are slim that you will get good explanation. I suspect you mean Xaviera, and if so, there is additional reason of reducing opportunities for dogbotting and all the conflicts over it while not hurting anyone doing the other daily, aka flies.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

It doesn't make any sense to have one channel. Maybe it does but then again it should be like that everywhere including varanas. The zone did have three channels until someone decided they would like to do their dailies apart from the afkers which resulted in overpopulated areas with not enough room for everyone to enjoy their daily log in. At times it isn't bad then there are other times wen it can become unbearable.
