So, am I crazy or has NPC shown up without a patch?

I have been all over Chrysalia farming eggs and mysterious bags for last several months. Yesterday, I saw a new soldier that I have not seen before. He is standing on the cliff south of Yasheedee pit and is shooting at dragons flying over the pit. No dialogue, no name, just a generic human soldier keeping mobs recycled.

Was he there all along and I gone blind? Is he not there for you like he is for me (ch 1, Reni)? Why the heck is there an NPC that showed up all of a sudden with no important role to play?

Barkud showed up in Limo once when he should not have, but Barkud is an important character, part of the storyline, and not just a nameless mook. And he was gone shortly thereafter.

So, am I seeing things?

I've seen the Alliance Warrior show up out of place on several different occasions, though not in that exact spot. Just outside the KBN instance portal is where I usually see them. Sometimes an armored soldier, sometimes a robed caster. They'll kill some mobs, then run right into the barrier that encircles most of that little area.

Clearly bugged. Wouldn't surprise me if you're seeing the same thing, but in a different spot.

Weird. Never saw them there. And the guy seems to be deliberately placed, he is equipped with Xbow and placed in just the right spot to reach the flying dragons. And only channel 1. Other two channels do not.

Oh, well. Hope they fix spawning logic. They have mobs fighting all over the area, scorps and dragons, soldiers and remodeled beasts (closer to start of zone), soldiers and myrmex, guardian and myrmex, and now one instance of soldiers and dragons. Rest of them properly die and get placed again. Only area that always bugs is bloody battlefield.
