Can you still hide gear..?

I just started playing again with my account for a few years ago..My armor is very CPU intensive, and I don't remember how to prevent it from displaying on my character while wearing it, nor do I see any obvious option to hide it. Didn't there used to be a checkbox?

Anyways, how do I hide it? I'm super laggy if I play with all my gear displayed.

go to the character view (c by default) u will c costume settings on the top right (besides ur necklace). click it. than scroll over to the gears u want to hide and u will c the option there.
