How do I get into HotO?

I am level 53 and have done every single quest in Weeping Coast, including every quest on the questline guide. Though, the quest from Polython to attune simply has never shown up... I was told by a friend you need to be level 52 to do the attunement quest. How do I enter there?

The two main questlines start with Auntie in Danger! and Song of the Forest, once these two lines are both complete the next steps should be as follows:

Mavate and Jiatu are the key NPCs

(At this point you need to head back over to Jiatu for the next step)

You should see some system text along the lines of "Received the mark of the Water King". Grats, you are now attuned for HotO (hopefully) :).

I believe I saw that posted in another thread.

I have done every quest in the area. There are none left. Do more open up at level 54?... and I figured 52 was enough to get attuned.

As far as I remember 52 is all you need to get attuned. If you've completed both those lines the quest from Mavate should've become available, then it's just a matter of running back and forth till seeing Polython :/

Go into the Pirate Cave in the very south of Weeping Coast & click the crates stacked up inside. You should find an item drops into your backpack that will right-click to give a quest. This might lead you to find the HotO pre-quest chain.

I remember in 2009 when a guild run to HotO couldn't start due to the tank not being able to enter and we tracked it back to this quest. I cannot guarantee this will work for you, but it did work for her.

There were no stacked boxes in the cave, at least not the cave with Jiatu in it.

Okay I figured it out... Apperently you have to do some questline that starts with this guy and his daughter in the middle of the Ayat and Ayam clan. He mentions something about Mavate and gives you the quest which introduces you to them. I just got the quest from Jiatu telling me to go talk to Mavate
