nope, unless you specify you want them deleted. It takes 24 hours for that to go into affect though

You should be good

As RomUnited said, characters are never deleted unless you actively delete them from a game account, and there's a 24 hour "cooling off" period after you've hit the Delete button.

However, it's entirely possible for a game account to be suspended for non-use. If you try to log into your old game account and it has been suspended, you can send a ticket to Support (you will probably have to create a Support Account first, use the "Contact Support" link in my sig or one of the links on the website's main page) and ask them to un-suspend it.

Be sure to provide the email address that is linked to the game account so you can respond to Support in order to prove that you have maintained control of the email account/address.

Do not post that information on the forums or send it in a PM to anyone on the CM Team. We cannot provide direct support.

Quick question pertaining to that.
My first rom account was with an email service that shut down the email part, any way to get that account transferred over to a valid email?
I know the info needed to verify it, but all emails go to a defunct account, so there is no way to get any emails RoM would send to me.

Yes, but it will take alot of work. You have to verfiy your idenity for your billing information for legal reasons by sending alot of personal information, including a photo id. The guildie of mine that your situation happened to decided not to do all that and just made a new account.

You should be able to log into Account Management on the main website page. Account tab-->Account Manageent. From there, instead of using your email address, log in using the account name and your password.

Once you're logged in, there will be a listing that shows the registered email address. Click on the Change button and enter the new email address.

Caveat: I have not tried to change the email address listed for any of my private accounts, so Caveat Emptor. I do not know if there are other requirements attached or what they might be.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thank you, I will try that. It's just something that's been bugging me for a while.
