Cooking in your house

After always having to look for a cooking stove in the different towns I decided I would do the cooking inside my house with bonusses and all. So I bought all 3 different crafting furniture pieces from item shop and put them in my house... I thought I could click on them to start cooking, but I can't. So I am wondering: how can I cook inside my house to benefit from the cooking bonus?

Go to your Skills window (Press "K") and click on the "Cooking" skill on the General tab (might be on 2nd page, depending on how many general skills you have). You can also drag it to a hotbar for ease of use.
