and besides elves arnt as ugly as humans
aaaaaaaaaaaaaand a druid mage has a shield that can be shared on three people and if u cant break it its redy to use again when it''s wornt off so its good for pve on druid side also
Yeah but M/P has the exact same buff that can also be shared.. so it's a moot point. It's not a plus towards m/d in any way. Also, since two urgents = a recover heal basically M/P can do exactly the same thing to heal a gate that a M/D can, so again, not a plus towards M/D over M/P. Though really if you need to heal a gate so bad that your guilds healers can't handle it, you were probably going to lose anyway.
The buff may not be sharable but mage druid has Perception which when lvl'd can be really buff up ur magic and as half a druid for sw someone tries to smash a gate use catalysis and cast buffs switch to heal gear and ur a uber healer and besides elves arnt as ugly as humans aaaaaaaaaaaaaand a druid mage has a shield that can be shared on three people and if u cant break it its redy to use again when it''s wornt off so its good for pve on druid side also
I would disagree with just a teeny bit of that.yeah in pvp and pve m/p beats m/d.
Mage/Druid might have magma blade.. but that's about all they have really. M/P has holy aura, mdef, an extra instant that can proc eruption, a skill that increases the amount of time eruption occurs, and the same matk buff M/D has that can also be cast on other people. Also a better heal than M/D because it's faster.
M/P is also much better in PvE, though there are many classes that are superior to it. Because of Outburst, it'll beat out a M/D for sure, though it won't get close to the better mage combos for PvE.
Overall, M/P is a better combo than M/D, but M/wd is better than both of them in every aspect.
but besides that, all mages are just good at pvp. M/p's essence of magic, the mdef buff and the gorram annoying immune and self-heals all add up to good fun in pvp. But skill > skills in pvp, in my experience anyway. And gear > all.I think you're a little off topic. He said out of "m/d and m/p"I would disagree with just a teeny bit of that.yeah in pvp and pve m/p beats m/d.

M/Wd is superior to m/p in pvp in range. As you noticed when we were playing around dueling, in close combat, m/p's immune becomes really powerful, as does the mdef buff. I haaate that mdef buff.
Honestly, in pvp, any mage can be deadly. M/wd and m/d get to cheat by standing at the other team's castle and killing you at your gate, and m/wd becomes a walking WMD every two minutesbut besides that, all mages are just good at pvp. M/p's essence of magic, the mdef buff and the gorram annoying immune and self-heals all add up to good fun in pvp. But skill > skills in pvp, in my experience anyway. And gear > all.
In PvE, I would argue that it's more situational than you think Bo. In a guild with insanely skilled and geared physical dps, any mage is going to look godawful, but m/wd will look the best- they have the insane 4 second nuke. In a guild that doesn't burn bosses in seconds, m/p will kick m/wd's arse and m/w would blow them both out of the water. M/d... is just sad sad sad in pve. I would label m/d as "do not attempt" in pve. To be completely honest, these days, I would label ALL mages as "do not attempt" in pve, sadly. However, if you MUST be mage in pve, please go m/w. At least then you can do decent burn and almost kinda-sorta sustained dps- and swap to w/m when you consider quitting the game in frustration.
Every other mage class may as well die as soon as their buffs run out- they're done dpsing. Sad, but it's true.
To answer OP's question: neither. M/wd/w or bust. UNLESS you want to solo content, then m/p is the clear winner.
