both w/d and w/p aren't really good at anything, but w/m is a nice dps...

Being new to the game you probably don't have too much invested in your character yet. So, re-roll now, while it is cheap.

Go Elf, and choose Warden as your main class. Then, since you mentioned possibly some healing, choose Druid as your second. Knight/Priest is also a fair tank with some healing, but nobody likes Knights anymore. Champion is the new guy on the block, but to be honest, I have not seen any Champion/priests in action.

IMHO, that fits your stated conditions best. I'm sure others will speak up with other suggestions. But Warrior is not a tank, with the possible exception of Warrior/Warden; Warrior/Knight makes for a fair off-tank. Warrior's primary role is DPS. Tanks are Knights, Wardens, and Champions.

can have a warrior elf no problem and go w/wrd and be one of games best melee dps idk tho XD, but imo you need atleast 250 million tp plus to even think of being epic as warrior, i have 342 mil tp as warrior and still dont have all skills maxed. But tbh only warrior class thats viable is w/wrd imo, the rest are garbage at this point.

I noted the tp as heaviest problem because it takes quite a long long long time to get that much tp and a lot of people want easy button classes that require lil tp to be viable.

W/R isn't bad. People just don't play them.

w/r is good dps, they just kinda boring to play...not to mention annoying...

I agree with Auros. Reroll elf if you aren't one, and do warden. Warriors don't tank. War/wardens are squishy as hell, they do not tank. Warmages can be tanks, but it takes a lot of creative gearing. Most of the time, warriors are the first ones dead on the floor. Tanky and warrior just don't go together unless you are warrior/knight, which is more of a knight than a real warrior.

Warden has what you're looking for, and it's a much more versatile class. Be warden/warrior. Heck, be warden/warrior/druid, and go wd/d when you want to heal yourself. Or wd/w/s and make friends with a nice healer. Wd/w/s is a one-man army.

fann would you be surprised if i told you as w/wrd i can hit 300k hp 350k pdef with roughly 90k ish pa. dont tell me im squishy rofl <3

Agreed with Warrior/Warden. Anyone remember Bangs doing over 100k DPS as W/Wd in TOSH-H using dirty statted gear?

Idk why she thinks w/wdn are squishy but w/m can tank if geared right.. W/wd is as durable as w/m with briar o.O

I disagree, w/k's tank. can get the highest pdef in game if stated with endgame plate gear, you dont have to haveit that long either if you have a burn party.

also if he goes w/wd wd/w can tank fine.

as far as dps and warrior w/wd w/m and w/r seem the most viable.

ID choose w/m magic is always a good fallback
