As far as Reni goes, yeah I guess its sociable. But its more or less the same people in world making some kind of sexual remarks, or some random people you've never heard about QQing to each other about something you don't care about, or Zid bashing the dupers (yeah, we've got one confirmed), or someone crying about prices (yet not willing to farm their own gear, or just use pricing to bash other guilds), or me starting up some drama in world because I'm bored.

Personally, I find most people annoying/lame/idiotic so I tend to stick to talking with guildies. Others could say the same about me, and have a blast in world, etc. Depends what kind of social you're going for, really.

I've visited other servers, and there are some nice people out there. I feel like Artemis is heavy on trolls (not the "teehee imma troll" kind that Reni has but the "go drown yourself" kind), but overall it seems decent, aside from the ecnomy. I dont visit Osha much, Govinda is eh, decent. Wouldnt really recommend Palenque unless spanish is your thing, but its also a dead-end server. Definitely wouldn't even consider the 2 pvp servers.

In some sense, I think every server has something to offer (except the PvP servers). Osha and Govinda are the more "sociable" and friendly, but as many have commented, they are really dead and lack population. Palenque is really nice and contrary to popular belief, I actually think that sometimes it actually has more people than Reni. However, 90% of the people there are spanish-speakers so you might have some trouble. Also in terms of end-game content, yea only Midnight Assasins can do it. Reni is considered the best but as you successfully predicted, it is one of the oldest servers. As such, you might feel lonely during the beginning, since all who are currently active are mostly end-game. Artemis certainly is the most populated and active..but only go there is you can play with massive hacks, the whole server is fudged up.

PS. If you really are comitted to the game and are looking forward to spend money on it, German servers are your best option to really experience the game at its best.

simple reason: 3k diamonds = 100 EUR vs 3k diamonds = 100 USD

Never thought about that but still, you're getting more value in those servers than here. Not to mention, that diamonds on average using gold (ingame currency) is about 1/3 or 1/4 what it is on US servers.

that is highly dependant on the server again. my good old Ionsai is decent, fluctuating between 40-60k per i think. but i was referring to "spending your own money for item shop stuff" because then its an issue when some 500 diamond package is 30% more of your rl money at least noone gets butthurt here the way the ENEU community got as someone recommended switching to a DE server

If you do show up on Reni, watch out for the Animal Farm! That includes the sheep, goats, and little green wabbits.

Please explain, How is this true? Pvp servers may not have anything to offer for you but I am sure they do for others like myself. Indigo is actually quite fun and has picked up lately. Reasons Indigo has "something to offer"


1. We have not been affected by the hacking/duping that messed up other servers economy.
2. We can trade gear without paying for ABL's
3. We can fight each other if we so choose without fear of losing our hard earned gear by staying white.
4. We work together on world bosses, instances because the top guilds get along.
5. We have more people than you think, reading the forums I think some of you guys think there is 5 of us sitting in varanas killing each other. We have a thriving community that is slightly less populated than pve servers but we still have flowing trade/guild chats and some nights even megaphone blasters.

Lol that is why we had like 25+ people from Indigo coming to Reni, their reason, trying to quest and level and getting ganked by 3 endgamers in Varanas. That sure seems like fun, i should go make a toon there and see. ;-(

Hey, hey, hey. Really, come to Osha, we need more people.

Well as you can see OP .. All the server can be good homes. all you need is an idea what kind of game you want to play .. you can do quests on a PvE server or go around and kill any thing/one that moves on a PVP server.. I started on Grimdal then when pop. dropped I moved to Reni and made it my home .. I say the best thing to do would be make a toon on every server play around on it for a day and see if it fits. If not move on to the next and try again . Something will click and you will have found your new home .

Even tho I have been playing for the last 5 yrs..It seems as tho the Reni server is as ghost like these days as the other servers were when I first started playing...even tho my account is stuck at the Grimdal second log in atm, hoping this will be addressed soon, I wanted to try and use the pvp server to get use to the pvp...lol When first starting the Reni server was not a pvp, and still is not as far as I know, but it had lots of nice & Helpful people playing on there.
