Quest Line "Dawn of War" Bugged...

During the quest "Battle Status" the description states "Find Kargath Duran and get debriefed on the progress of the battle." However, when I go to find Kargath near the tent where is supposedly is, he isn't there, this has happened to many people other than me. Please just fix the bugs for once. I'm tired of not being able to level because of a bugged quest that I can't turn in... :/

It's not bugged. You just have to do some of the non main line quests first before he will appear. I don't remember exactly which quest it was that unlocked him though.

OK, here is how I am doing it

1) Complete all the quests in city and Fang camp. Not really necessary, but hey, why not?

2) Complete chain till you get "Battle Status".

3) Go to compound on the east side of boiling lake and do its quests till he mentions that they set up another compound, on west side, and Kargath went there.

4) Meet Kargath in West compound and get the quests from chef NPC (Patch) and Ailic NPC (forgot name)

5) Finish chef and Ailic quests, that completes Kargath quest and he sends you to deal with Iswan trapped in the plant

6) That also brings Morrok out and he gives you "Glancing Back" quest with Jill as receiver, near Nynke

7) Complete Iswan mini-chain till you hear Sismond talking with Klamorte

8 ) Talk to Jill and get her to give you a quest that assists Nynke

9) Do Nynke quests, after putting BAS on, because those fairies are vicious, mean, nasty, evil, toon killing bleed spammers.

I have guildie who broke the chain somewhere and near as I can tell, he never got Morrok quest, so Jill is not by Nynke. That means Bankelemos never shows up on top of the Tower of Balance, and chain is messed up.

Other people say Kargath is not not showing up - as I understand it, because you do quests that mention that Kargath went to Boiling Lake West compound before you get "Battle Status".

Sooo..... as a player, here is how not to mess up chain, IMO.

1) Don't go to Boiling Lake quest till you get "Battle Status"

2) Don't do Nynke's quest till Jill tells you to do them.

They really should put both of those on the "triggered by" list.

P.S. Unrelated question - anyone solo-completed the NPC instance run? I kept trying on my main, Rustyx, but either the mobs kill me or they kill NPCs. Maybe a healer can keep himself/NPCs alive, but as R/S, I don't seem to be having much luck. Well, at least I didn't till I got bit by "login" bug. :D
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Borella and Rustyx , I actually found that about 30 seconds after I posted it, I meant to reply to this post, however never got the chance as right when I turned in the quest I lost internet connection. Thank you very much for your help you! It is a shame that the new zone is now closed, and for me at least, questing for the time being has been stopped. Your help is much appreciated.

I went in there solo on both HM and EZ mode, only made it as far as the ramp with the Flame & Lightning Towers which give the trash mobs a buff that suggests killing the gate further along to remove/acquire it. Weird thing here were the dots (a few of them that stacked and hurt 6 -> 25k) the damage seemed the same from them regardless of difficulty. Bankelemos appears to be the key NPC since his death sends everyone back to the start and is the one that removes the energy barriers along the way. With the NPC involvement it seems like it might actually be fun/different.

Re: Dawn of War - Battle Status; I too ran into issues of Kargarth not appearing at the tent in Boiling Lake as intended even though I'd done the two side quests to spawn him. Seem's my mistake was continuing to do other quests and the line got confused at some point, hmm.

Navyseal. The zone is still open, although due to close soon. I am leveling my alt to 82 now.

Thanks, Arkana. Our guild's most OP player went in too, said he made it to 3rd boss, and then it gotten weird and boss was 1-hitting (not sure if him or NPCs). And, yeah, Bankelemos is the key. It seems like after first couple groups, Morrok and other flyers (Jill?, anyone else) leave the group and go up ahead, so Bankelemos is left tanking the instance with DPS role taken by players, not NPCs. And, he has no heals that I seen, so unless players can DPS mobs fast or have a healer that can keep him alive, he does not last that long. And his aggro is low enough that if I go all out as DPS, I get aggro an AOE damage. Then I am getting bleeds on me that hurt faster than I can self-heal. So, cutting DPS keeps me safe, but kills Bankelemos.

I am hoping OP DPS or healer can run this and maybe elaborate on how this can be done. The quest is not even labeled as party required, so I gotta be missing something.

To get Kargath Duran to appear, you need to do a couple quests for the NPC named Leroyo (sp?) (35.9, 37.3 roughly) located at a small camp roughly half way between the Fierce Fang Front Line, and the Byalant production plant. on the map it looks like a small hut wit a single flag on top. the Leroyo will have you kill some mobs around his camp (eight each of two different kinds) and then his next quest will send you on to Kargath Duran at the boiling lake.

I have seen the main line done considerably out of order: a couple things to check are:

1.) have you done the quest for Midonor in Wall of Patrace to take medical supplies to Will Kanches (this leads to a small group of quests that cause Jill Ayekin to appear near Nynke near the Tower of Blanace) it is ok to do Nynke's two quests first, again, I've seen it done this way first hand

2.) Make sure you have done Leroyo's (sp?) quests to make Kargath Duran appear

Something else to note is that after dealing with Kargath at this point, he will send you to see Iswan Giant in the Byalant production plant, this quest DOES NOT seem to have any effect on the main quest line at all. I have in fact saved it until after getting the "Joining The Fight" quest on two different toons now.

Also be aware that Nynke's shield to protect you from the fairies is about as effective as wrapping your self in toilet paper and asking them to please not hit you....

And to answer the next question that will undoubtedly come up:

The Water Processing Quest:

1.) Collect the runes from the two types of punishers and from the wreckage at the bottom of the largest of the three lakes.
1a.) you will need three Operational Medium and two Activation Rune(s) (as I remember it)

2.) The places to put them are as follows: (30.4, 40.9) (34.1, 42.3) (35.9, 46.0) (35.4, 46.4) (25.6, 43.2)
