Sales go on at appropriate times in the regions they are running in...

EU is quite a few hours ahead of us, guys.

AU is even further ahead of us.

They announce the sales as they start. We're just lucky in that we have players that play in the EU as well so we see what's coming up & can plan accordingly.

And what is cost?

No... we shouldn't have to check the EU side, we should sit here and wait until our sale goes up.

These sales are "surprise! we have a sale" type sales... like I said, we're just blessed because they ARE the same so we have an advanced notice unlike our AU & EU brethren.

basically.. I get what you're asking. Give us umpteen hours of a heads up.. but then they give the same upteen hours of a heads up for the other regions.. guess what? we're back at: Why don't we get notified earlier?

Blame the world for not being a flat disc. The posts usually go live shortly before the sales go live. Even the EU guys go check the AU page on weekends because they are the first ones to start into the day ... so they get the announcements first because at lets say 13:00 Australia its somewhere around 5am in Germany while the sale will not start before ... 13:00. Which is when the posts show up. Which in turn goes on and on and hits the US on whatever time your sale starts and the posts show up.


So big news here, the world is not flat.

And the sales have been identical for ages. Except for some Happy Hours sometimes.

Which is to say, currently there are Daily Quest Tickets on Happy Hour on EU from 17:00-23:5922:00 So if that comes over here too, it should show up around 5pm Pacific which would be in around 6h.

The 6 man mount is on 599 Diamonds with 150 Ruby bonus/kickback.
DQ are 19 diamonds.

That was "back in the day" when each region was managed by different entities within the same company.

Froggie US had different sales than Froggie EU & Froggie AU.

Now, we're all under 1 umbrella, so the sales are all the same.

People can still think like that. *shrugs* It's one of those... we're soo much worse off because they ( whomever ) had it better.

Yeah.. AU had Recon X's in their IS; EU had Rune sales every other day.. but you know what? We had ABL's & Attribute Purifiers in our AH.

Every region had something other regions were jealous of.

bigger playerbase = more fluent ingame eco = more possibilites

and i dont know when ive seen Shield(!) IV the last time on sale, its been a while.
Shield was on sale like once half a year but the sales are identical so ... some people should maybe open their eyes? And it was Shield IV so you'd need Advance IV to make Recon IV out of it. Yes, IV. Not IX like a lot on US have. (thats 3125 IVs for a single IX ...)

Legal IX / X Recon on EU are rare as a snowflake in hell , still i've seen people on US complain a lot that "we need Recon X sales now because its impossible to keep aggro". I obviously got flamed for L2P



But some people just like to find excuses. Age old discussion that goes back to maybe somewhere within the first 100 posts of me in this forum and even earlier.

US and AU bascially did whatever the f... they want back in the day. +16 stones on US weeks earlier than the rest of the world? sure, no problem. The actual good weapon runes as tier7+ sale for cheap? no problem, just took another month or two with different but crappy rune sales inbetween on EU.
Recon X on AU for almost nothing? sure. Great Golden Repair hammers in a big pack equallying 8$ but 20€ ? suure, why not. lol. (I complained about that with the GGR in the past and was told that this is not a bug )

etc etc. but all of that is 1,5+ years ago.

The mount is a collectors item, really. The usefulness is somewhere around ... zero. Yeah, 6 players. Last time i tested it ran like ..., dropped people off, people were ported to starting location or started randomly dying while mounted(!) ... and its loud as freaking hell with annoying sound.

If you have 600 diamonds (~18$ off the biggest package w/o diamond sale) and are one of those "I dont have that in my collection yet" - go ahead. I could have gotten it from my Scoreformore Points on EU and didn't. I just got me other stuff and in the end gifted away some stuff from some of my points. But for actual usefulness? Well, idk ...

It is useful all right... works well, but it is not worth 599 dias. This goes back to IS being out of this world in dollar values and a bit out of touch.

IMHO, no mount should be more then 299 DIAS. There should be some junky ones (like that little bird) that are 49 DIAS (call them alt mount) and rest should be put across by its usefulness. (1-6 player mount, can cross water or not, speed...) Most should be bellow 199 to sell.

This way they would sell tons of DIAS, make many people HAPPY and willing to part with some CASH if they don't have DIAS atm. Most people would get mount for every alt they have. That is how you make SALE... this.... just another form of greed.... make it available in SFM, remove it and try to cash on it... something just for HARD fans, not sure how many of those is left in game... good luck... (one more proof that I was right when I said that I don't see things going in right direction)

Consider above sale/marketing recommendation free of charge...

Its a smart move because people have been crying for wanting this mount for ages. Just the price doesnt fit because last time i tested it didnt really work that well, 6 players or not. But for the 6 player thing 399 or 499 would've been a better price point instead of 599. But they have metrics about it, so if the metrics will say at the end of the day they have sold what they consider enough of these things... the 599 can't be too wrong. We'll only see if it comes again and cheaper in the near future again.

First price ever of the rune disk on the introduction was 569 ... for a fast 1 player mount. And they still sold shitloads of them

Ter me mind, this mount sale tis awesome in this regard. Tis different from past sales. Yesterday twas the same. New titles! So thoughtful. Plus, these items that they do be sellin aren't really "game-changin" i.e., they no be p2w items. Nice. Consider this, we done hast been complainin fer months (year?) fer new/better sales. Here they be! Wooties! Tis bout time. Thankee Gameforge fer gettin this movin. Me tis startin ter believe that there do be hope fer their administration. (side note: the mount TIS abit spendy)
