I know its a bit of a strange question, but its been nagging at me for a while...
As a mentor, can you still complain about the game on your private forum account?

I've always wondered this as well. I've also always wondered that as a Mentor and if they have private forum accounts, if they know who's each other's are. i.e. Kalvan knows what Saito's private forum account is and yells at him for posting something he shouldn't have.

Mentors do have their own private forum and game accounts. After all, we're players, just like the rest of the regular forum members. I know who the US Mentors are--their private forum IDs and, generally, their main characters on their "home" servers. Most of them know who I am on the forums and in-game.

(I might be wrong, but I think I'm currently the longest-serving US Mentor. I was recruited by former GM Aquila in late '09 to be a Greeter, and worked mainly on Govinda. I was let go in April '10 when that program was discontinued, then "re-hired" in August '10 as a Forum Moderator. That position was renamed "Mentor" a few months later.)

Anyway, I pre-censor my private account posts. That is to say, I take a bit longer when writing and I review what I've written to make sure I haven't revealed any proprietary information and adhere to the forum rules. Every so often I make a mistake on my private account and have to delete the post with this account. Doesn't happen very often, though, and I think most of the Mentors have done the same.

That would be multiple forum accounts for personal use. I have my original personal account. This account is company-issued and, therefore, doesn't count. There is no associated game account.
