Pet Transform Pots. Perm or temp? Stats change or no?

Hi all,

Excuse my arrogance, but I've never used one of these, surprisingly.

If I purchase a Pet Transform potion, it just transforms the look, permanently, correct? Stats and element are uneffected? If I merge the same look is kept, I don't have to keep buying the transform pots?

Don't want to buy one if the effect is only going to be temp. My pet is only a Magical Pet Egg and kind of want to grab a Holy for my Knight but want a small range of different pet types.

Thanks.

Upon using an itemshop pet transformation potion, your pet's (look and skills) will change permanently or until you use a different transformation potion, your pet's (element, rank, stats, exp, tp, apt, lvl, name, and talents) will remain the same.

You will also still be able to merge other pets into your primary pet the same way as always without changing your pets looks and skills... Also different transformation potions bring different skills useful to different classes, its best to make sure you know which one will benefit your character the most before you make your purchase so you dont waste diamonds.

I hope that answers your question to your satisfaction

Jguy, it is not arrogance. I think you mean ignorance.

Only thing that potion gives you is different set of skills. Well, and a different "skin", but that is cosmetic. Not that a lot of people don't value cosmetics, mind you.

When your pet has high loyalty and well fed, he will use those skills often enough to make a difference. Some of them are buffs, some direct attacks, some indirect attacks.

Take a look at Parrot skills. It is a popular mage transformation potion because it gives Matt boost or Int boost. Or Executioner puppet. Boost to attack speed or boost to all attributes. Both great.

Others are less so. Like snow ferret, will give bonus HP or cast a healing spell on you. Not good for DPS, and without aggro bonus, not good for tanks. And of course healers don't need healing to come from pets. So, meh potion.

And, yes, it is permanent.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.
