Random Hotkey disabled

Does anyone got this? I have all the last hotkeys, the ones that shows on extra skills like the ones that shows up on CoO in "Invaders From The Sea Quests~, setted on my numpad. Everytime I enter drill ground and start playing that first minigame (sharp, ..., ...), one or more keys are not assigned anymore even before I enter the minigame I usually check them all, so I keep missing first wave of mobs that poup up from the ground, just to fix the damn keys. Anyone?

I have experienced this as well, after a few times of setting the keys again i finally opened my bindings file in the RoM hidden folder and set it there. That seemed to have solved the problem for now.

However, i still recommend submitting a bug report so that the bug testers can look into it more. Provide as much detail as possible including what you were doing each time just in case it has happened at some other point than just the minigame.

My own experience of this 'feature' manifesting itself and my idea to solve this (an a fair few other problems with RoM forgetting its' settings) is to start the game launcher by right-clicking my desktop shortcut and selecting "Run as Administrator".

Settings can then be 'set', game exited, restarted normally - the game then doesn't seem to forget any changes I made. I need to repeat the process if I want any new changes I make to be saved.

The solution indicated that a lot of our current game problems are down to the way Microsoft handled file permissions within Windows - particularly Windows Vista and onwards, as I have never encountered or heard of anyone having this type of trouble with RoM on Windows XP.

Yeah, that work for most issues related to visual settings like, actionbars, icons and addons or itens position on screen. This hotkey problem is a greemlin. Like the day before yesterday I had no need to fix nothing all keys were correctly assined, but yesterday key 3 was blank, on other day was key 8. It's preety random, and everytime you check they seem to be ok, but when the new skills show on your screen is when the problem usually start.

Murkalael, thank you for posting this. Now I know I am not alone in realizing to my dismay that my hotkeys have mysteriously been reasigned. My hotkeys especially love changing themselves when I begin timed training in andor. Nothing like a good infusion of adrenaline when enjoying some quiet time doing dailies. ;)
