Nemesis

So how does the nemesis thing work? Trying to do a quest and keep getting killed in and out of town, slightly annoying

I am not sure if you are on Indigo or Grimdal but it is very easy to avoid being Pk'd. Mostly because there are not many players left that care to PK and stay red forever. If you are having a "stalker problem" there are a few options you can take.
1. Change channels, Do this out of sight of the PK'er.
2. Leave your PK bubble up. This means you cannot attack but you also cannot die. Leave your bubble up, go get a snack and they might get bored with you.
3. Ask your guildies to come kick his ***. Pk'ers have 1 thing in common, they are all twinks and usually weak. Any mid to endgamer can crush them with a pinky. Just mentioning someone is bothering you in guild usually will bring out the hunters wanting to have fun.

I'm on Artemis pve which is why i was surprised then it somehow created a battle between guilds, the problem is he was lv 73 and im only 51 and my guild is low level people around 50. I joined them because I wanted to be around people my level so there was no fighting back against this guy. Funny part is he had a friend lv 85 who just watched great time for recall to be on cool down :/ After that event I want to stay as far away from anyone I run into while questing as possible

You didn't seem to give a very good or complete description of your problem. Given that, I see two possibilities:

1. You have your PK flag turned on. Turn it off, and you won't be bothered.

2. Another guild has declared Guild War on yours. This is NOT the same as "Designated Guild War", which is a specific sign-up via the Guild/Battles/Siege War interface. A declared Guild War cannot be declined or refused, which I find to be rather unfortunate.

There is little you can do about #2. Any guild may declare a Guild War against any other guild on your server. If you wish to avoid being involved, you can 1.) enter your house, 2.) enter any instance, 3.) enter your guild castle (so long as it is not open to visitors). or 4.) log out for the duration of the Guild War.

There is a 15-second immunity at the Resurrection Shrine when you are killed in a Guild War. Use a Home Sweet Home rune to get to your house, use a Guild Castle Transport Rune to get to your castle, or use your Transport or Black Codex book to get to an instance (enter the instance after you transport, of course.)

If, and only if, a specific guild is constantly or consistently warring your guild, it can be considered harassment. If you or your guild leader can compile enough evidence of this kind of harassment, submit a ticket to Support and include screenshots, links to screenshots (preferred), or links to videos that show the harassment. Gameforge does NOT tolerate harassment of players or guilds and if sufficient evidence of this is provided, we WILL take action against the player(s) involved in it.

I usually have to right click the buff icon to turn off pk flag.

Hopefully that worked. Beyond that, you can add that person as a friend, then make a category such as "not friendly", and move them to it. This will generate a system message anytime they log on so that you will have at least some warning ahead of time they might be around.

There are plenty of helpful players out there. Most high level players are bored, so asking for help with quest recommending a group, quest involving fighting elites, or instance quest would benefit them and you. There are bad apples out there, so to speak, even in good guilds, but there are plenty of great players out there too.

Well, that is a understatement if ever I read one..

Mildly so. If it wasn't tantamount to bragging, I'd label myself as a Master of Understatement. :P

I've been playing since early Chapter 1 and my first main character (long retired) didn't join a guild until lvl 50, specifically to avoid being involved in any Guild Wars. The necessity of joining a guild to progress outweighed my preference of avoiding Guild Wars.

It didn't take very long, though. Some boob in my guild torched someone in WC. The next thing I knew while questing was being shot in the back by someone from another guild that had warred us. (I hadn't noticed or seen the announcement, so...) After the first couple of times getting my butt shot off, a quick trip to my house via HSH rune corrected the problem. And, of course, logging out of the game for the rest of the evening.

As a player and, later, as a Moderator and Game Master, I've never liked the ability of a Guild Leader or officer who happens to be peeved with someone from another guild to have the ability to declare War on that guild and thereby ruin or greatly diminish enjoyment of this game for everyone in the target guild for an hour or so. Especially if multiple wars are declared during an evening, or even a weekend. And I've seen that happen. It's wrong and repeatedly warring another guild can lead to people leaving the game and also truly can be considered harassment.
