Quest Issues

Sorry if this has been answered before, if so just direct me to the appropriate answer, I couldn't find a search function for the forum.

I am in Coast of Opportunity, and trying to finish the crab training quest, but I think my crab is broken, because I rez it and it just sits there and does nothing, for ages and ages. What am I supposed to do to finish this quest?

I'm not positive on this... however I believe once the crab is captured you must take it to Nala Heffner, in the Heffner camp, you can either location her using the 'backspace' search option in the game (Caps sensitive) or by opening the quest and clicking the button to reveal the quest receivers position, as that should also be Nala. Hope I remember correctly and that this helps. ^.^

When training the crab, you should have an extra action bar appear that issues commands to the crab.

If this extra action bar isn't appearing, it is probably being blocked by an addon.

Take the crab to the little field just past the snoop outside heffner. Use the feed then the attack and stop functions until it needs feeding message appears again. Repeat until quest updates.

You can also take the crab around as a helper for a other quest, for instance killing the pirates on the beach. Or just for farming mobs. The crab will follow and fight with you until the training quest is turned in. As it is a level 14 elite, it is quite buff for when you should be getting it. It will remain out with cavy pets, skill pets(wardens pets), and vanity pets(zodiacs).
