Mounts

Can anyone tell me if there is another way to get mounts besides renting or buying them with diamonds? ;(

once in a blue moon they will appear in the ptoken shop.

you can also pick up rental tickets, which gives you a "free" temp mount, no need to find stable. one of the minigames used to give pieces to a 30 day mount, not sure if that is still around though.

HOWEVER, with honor points + ptokens, you can get 20+ day mounts, which is pretty decent.

If you're able to do the Course of Terror minigame, it's a fairly reliable source of aforementioned rental tickets. I've gotten more than I can use.

You can also get upto 30 day mounts useing p-tokens and mems and honor points.

Some of the festival events will give mounts as well, which are usually 7 or 30 day ones.

There were also promotionals codes for free mounts. Ask around if anyone has any old mount codes that still work.

The starter bags give out a couple of free mounts.

Also doing the tutorial gives you a mount buff that last until you dismount.

But the ancient treasure hunt mini in scacilla steppes or the horse rental tickets from the malatinas course of terror are your best bet for effectively always having a free mount. The horse rental tickets are unbound, so the can be traded or bought from aution house.

There is an event festival that you can make your own permanent mount(Flame Horn Beast). Just need to wait for the event to collect ribbon and herbs from Frogs. I gone crazy for the last event that I make 5 of those mount for my farming alts. :thumbsup:
