Data Rate Usage

I saw an article that my ISP, Comcast, will most likely move us to data usage billing with a 300GB data cap. I have no concept of how much data I use, or how this would affect me. Most of my online time is RoM, and I would say that I average 4 hours per day playing. Any insight would be appreciated.

You should be able to login your suppliers personnal account and see how much data you used, upload/download, and how much you have left before going over your limit. Or call them and ask the information.

I use around 190GB of data a month and that is 2 comps 4 clients 16 hours a day plus youtube and torrents.

I have 25gb a month, don't watch vids or torrent anything, mainly just forums/rom and ts with net....usually 4-5 days at the end of each month with capped speed and insane ping :/

So in otherwords... RoM uses very little :P

I have a wireless account i use quite frequently for several hours a day for rom and forums.. i run about 2 gig a month. Rom dosnt use much at all. Now youtube and video will be your big killer because streaming video uses tons of bandwith. But if only rom and forums. 300g will last you a year at 4 hrs a day with the exception of patching and etc...

pretty nuts that they are doing that. I need to check into that cause we just got Comcast here, but we are paying for one of the higher up packages, so I would hope they wouldn't have a limit
