Runes of Magic US / AU

So i have completed all available quest in av. except for quest related to the fire beings. i did one where u blow up the equipment, no follow on quest, completed one where u throw necklace into brazier. and that was the end of my questing in av. i have completed all quests related to zs, dl, ds.

the npc that gives the warm rock for the rest of the fire being quests is missing.

I put in a ticket and they told me to come here because they dont want to reveal info about quests and take the mystery out of the game or give anyone an unfair advantage.

this is not my first lvl capped char. i have ran 4 or so chars through all the way to tb and at least two beyond. i know the questlines as i am a title junky and remember where and who and how quests start. the fact that this quest is not apearring presents as a bug of some sort but support feels its working as intended.

so my question is, what am i missing? any ideas anyone?

apat has nothing and as i conveyed to support kanya is not on my map, nor is she where she should be by the infernal gate wich is where she should be if im not mistaken.

Ive seen and tried looting the mysterious crystals as I remember them being for something but am unable to. I tried different ones as they are all arounand dont know about lava pool dailies but its the pool by infernal gate where u pay respect to fire being. A later quest before u get the warm rock wich will port u too him at a later point.

And i have to lol if thats what i have been looking for as the response from support wasthat they didnt want to take mystery out of the game.

Solved. maybe. i clicked on mysterious crystal, got sent to mardike where i listen to him tell a story, then injured scout has a quest available wich confirms what sfvictor shared, who sends me back to Apat. Apat has you have a chat with him about the flame devils where u have to select different options to get to the bottom of flame devils behaviour, then he gives u quest to ask the dimarka vilagers about the fire beings. then u talk to mardike about the fire beings to complete that quest then back to apat to turn in and he sends you to Kanya. finally, the npc ive been unable to locate.

So to recap, the mysterious crystals present themselves as an object u cant loot but clicking on them DOES indeed give u an item that gives u a quest. Wich is somewhat odd considering even some of the more obscure quests show that an item can be talked to when u hover over it where this item seems inert.

Thanks all who responded to help clear this up and i hope this little thread doesnt get lost to the archives and someone someday later can find this to help them along the way while questing in AV and hunting for missing titles.

edit to add, doesnt send u directly to kanya, sends u to strange metal fragment. u then investigate the metal fragment, then fire being spawns, kill it and quest completes, click metal fragment again to turn in then kanya appears. after talking with her a bit she sends u to find the items for the quests that lead to the titles i have been searching for namely, Secret of the Fragments wich leads to the quests to get like 6ish other titles.
