t12 weapons

Hello,

I'm sorry to bother all of you but a friend and i got into a recent arguement about this game that i need resolved. He had a t12 bow which i do recall so he did indeed have it. He said the bow was worth 10,000$ based in real life currency spent to make it via cash shop items. I remember having a t11 bow and i spent no where near that amount, not even a small faction. Please help me resolve this arguement.

3 T12's should cost 9829 AT charges, which are 0.5 diamonds each (less if he bought during anniversary), which is 4914 diamonds. With double diamonds you get like 7k diamonds for $100. So no, he didn't spend $10000 on it.

This is basic arithmetic.

9841 charges. If charges bought not on sale, then 10 per 9 dia, and cost is 8857 dia. Cheapest non-sale dias are 3150 for $100. That means $281 for the set is your worst price.

Now, nobody buys like that. As Ruisen said, it is 0.5 dia/charge when charges on sale, so you need 4921 dias. When there is 150% dia sale, your $100 gets you 7875 dias. That means $62.50 is your best price.

Actual costs are little lower (there is dia bonus on almost all purchase types), but that is close enough.

As with most people who spin tales about how they spend GDP of a mid-size South American country to gear just one toon, they are a little... well... lying out of sides of their mouths.

this of course is TOTALLY less, if you run dailies on multiple characters, with the means of P tokens, you can get 10 transmuter charges a day. If you ran dailies on 10 noobs a day that is 100 a day, which would take 50 days to get enough charges... and not spend a dime.

Your friend is plain wrong. It is NO where near that expensive, if he had said 200-500... MAYBE possible, depending on when it was made, if T5s were easily acquired or if he had to use T4s, or lack of sales. Even with T4s though you only multiple by 3, so only $180 bucks. Even if he says it was when only T3 was out there, that is still again 3 times more, at $540 dollars.

So we are still no where near 1/10th the cost that he claims.

Have your friend come online and explain how he came to that figure. Using 2 accounts with 8 toons each, trash t5 gear, and using 10k xp orbs from siege wins I could make 2 t10s every 6 days. In total it would take about 81 days to make a set of t12s. In-game gold (if you purchase the trash gear) would run you about 2 mil per t10 so you'd pay 162 mil total to make a set of t12 stones. You can make a set in just over 2.5 months for about an hour a day for 162 mil and not spend any real world money. The cost will increase if u buy the 10k orbs or the time will increase if you level each toon and run dailies (I just use em, delete, and repeat the next day).

If you have the time and patience just make them yourself and laugh at how much you didn't have to spend.

He didn't by chance say it was clean t12 statted did he? That would make it considerably more expensive, though I'm too lazy to do the math to see if that could possibly cost near $10k. And then also maybe the cost of 4 runes (X tier?), +16, and maybe the gold he used to buy the base weapon to begin with.

Those can all increase the cost, but man, getting up to $10k would require a lot.

well 1 Tier 11 stone takes 729 items, and 729 puris, will need 9 of those, 6561 puris at 19 a piece (assuming no sale) 124,659 diamonds, at 7000/$100= $17808. So maybe if it was CLEAN tier 12 and he got the right sales at the right times, sold the dias for the gold, yeah that would make sense...


But ONLY if tier 12 clean.

or he got it during the duping issue and didn't pay a penny, just didn't get caught for the ban. Or ran a bunch of toons through Ystra, got his free puris from there, over and over again till he got them all, pain staking yes but free.

On serious side, just running mini games daily and cleaning inventory from T5 items gets you couple of T10 stones every month, without even trying to work hard on it...
