Random questions that I dont remember the answers to.

So let me start off bys aying I've played the game before, but my knowledge is about half a step above someone who is trying it for the first time so I barely know/remember anything. I never made it far but i always find myself coming back to this game to try it again. I just had some random questions that I was wondering about while im redownloading it.

1) What is the most played class(es) in the game? I do not like playing the same as everyone else.
2) The armor/weapon crafting system, is it worth actually putting time into developing?
3) i dont remmeber but do things level up as you use them ? like sword skill, bow skill etc
4) theres a dual class system right? i never fully understood it.
5) Ive looked over forum a little and saw most people saying artemis was the most active?
6) Is there any true difference between being human or being elf? or is it just starting area and looks
7) whats the maximum level right now?
8) I never got into a clan/guild whenever I played, how hard is it to make one? or even join one.
9) what is the difference between PvP and PvE server? I remember this game is different than others in that regard.

well theres a few to start off... Im sure theyve all been answered before but im in the middle of doing other things and dont wanna search the whole forum.

If i can think of anything else ill update topic! thanks in advance and i apologize for being so naive.

1) What is the most played class(es) in the game? I do not like playing the same as everyone else.
well, if u wanna play a class no1 else does, roll scout :P

to answer your question: wardens, and rogues seem to be most popular(at least what i've seen). mages are also up there as well.

2) The armor/weapon crafting system, is it worth actually putting time into developing?
yes. but expect to put a whole lot of work/resources/time into it. the payout is good, but the cost is also huge.

3) i dont remmeber but do things level up as you use them ? like sword skill, bow skill etc
for weapon skills, yes. for regular skills, no, you need to alot "talent points" into the skills to level them.

4) theres a dual class system right? i never fully understood it.
you get actually 3 classes now, 2 of which can be active as prim/second at a time.

simply put, u get ALL the skills of your primary, but only a few from your secondary, but you also get a set of skills exclusive to that prim/second combination.

5) Ive looked over forum a little and saw most people saying artemis was the most active?
most people, but i would not say most active.
there is much debate on this subject, so i'll leave it open.
6) Is there any true difference between being human or being elf? or is it just starting area and looks
race locked classes. we also have dwarves now too. dwarves can be: warlock, champion, priest, mage, rogue, warrior. elves can be: warden, druid, scout, rogue, mage, warrior. humans can be: rogue, warrior, knight, priest, mage, scout.

7) whats the maximum level right now?
87

8) I never got into a clan/guild whenever I played, how hard is it to make one? or even join one.
finding one is easy. finding one you like(and they like you) is a bit trickier, but so worth it. keep trying out guilds(if you tell them you are "looking for a good fitting guild", then there are usually no hard feelings if you decide it's not for you and leave), until u find "the one".

making one is cheap nowadays, but i wouldn't recommend it, unless you have a group of friends you want to play with on your own. with an established guild, you will get information resources, people to ask questions, people to help you, etc...and probably some cheap hand-me-down gear as well.
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

mages should stack dex. word.

Probably most inclined to go dwarf or elf, i try to steer away form human in most games.

yes, that being said, it's not played much for a reason(to be blunt, it sucks). if thats cool with you, i wish you all the luck in the world(i'm too stubborn to stop playing scout :P). :D

1) What is the most played class(es) in the game? I do not like playing the same as everyone else.

I'll say rogues, wardens, druids. Some combos are popular, and for a reason - they have good selection of useful skills. If something is not played, there is usually good reason for it.

2) The armor/weapon crafting system, is it worth actually putting time into developing?

Yes. For some. Not everyone is into crafting. It is viable, although rarely best-in-the-slot, way to gear up.

3) i dont remmeber but do things level up as you use them ? like sword skill, bow skill etc

Skills dont go up with use. Weapon proficiencies do, which s why you will see sometimes someone beating on a dummy. They are not that useful, though.

4) theres a dual class system right? i never fully understood it.

Your skills are divided into general and class specific. When you are class X/Y, you have access to general and class specific skills of X, but only general skills of Y. You also have a set of elite skills that are specific only to X/Y combo. Those skills usually make or break the class combo.

5) Ive looked over forum a little and saw most people saying artemis was the most active?

Pshaw. Artemis is busy, but everyone should go Reni

6) Is there any true difference between being human or being elf? or is it just starting area and looks

Class selection. Each race has classes that only that race can have and some it can't have.

7) whats the maximum level right now?

87.

8) I never got into a clan/guild whenever I played, how hard is it to make one? or even join one.

Never make your own when you dont know what you are doing. Guilds should always have people who can help with info or stuff.

9) what is the difference between PvP and PvE server? I remember this game is different than others in that regard.

PVP servers are very very low populated, and according to them PVP is somewhat nerfed. The plus is that gear trading can be accomplished cheaper. Whereas PVE trading requires a way to modify gear so it can be traded (called unbinding), PVP servers can trade some things that are still bound. Unbinding is expensive, so PVP servers get a cost break.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.
