Leaving Shield Form

This may sound really stupid, but I tried searching and could not find an answer.

How does a Champion leave Shield Form? My wife just got her Champion to 16 and got Shield Form. She activated it and went questing. Then she wanted to swap classes, but could not do so as long as she was in Shield Form. She finally got it to deactivate by going into her house, but there has to be another way.

To deactivate shield form, simply use the skill again -- the skill itself "toggles" the shield form state. If you're currently IN shield form, it turns it off, if you are a dwarf it turns it on.

Leaving or entering instances (including your house or guild castle) also force you into dwarf state.

did she try to die? seems it will work :whistling:

debt at lvl 16 is negligible, so dont hesitate to die.

Clicking the skill again really should work, or maybe right-click the on the buff to deactivate it (works for most buffs, should work for shield form too)

Right clicking does NOT work for Shield form or Disassembly mode. You have to click the skill on your action bar or in your skill menu again to return to the normal dwarf state

I just recently started a champ alt. Gonna test out the champ/lock combo. But in regards to Shield Form, I leave it when I use the skill again. It seemed to have a slight lag on leaving the form though (though that could have just been my computer). So, if you don't leave the form immediately, don't spam the skill trying to leave cause it may put you back into shield form. Not too sure on that though.
