Your farming toon should be lower level than the mobs you are farming. Or, farm as an honor party with a low level toon(<lvl 30)

loot runes, guild castle drop rate tower buff, potion of luck, legendary pet, 20% XP/TP/drop rate pet and a low level toon in party

One thing to remember is that card drops are not completely random, but streaky. You have no control of it, but if you find a card, your chances for finding that exact same card are much higher in the next few seconds and even minutes, as is your chance of finding any card increased after finding a card. Zones are streaky too. How much so, depends on the zone. All the luck in the world won't save you if you are in a really bad stretch in some zones, and lots of times it's simply better to move on to another zone. A crapshoot either way.

Also, drop rates for cards vary. For mobs, it's easy. 1% for SL and AV. .1 % for all other mobs. For bosses, it varies from .1% to 30%, with the only 30% cards being Lost Soul of Tifka, Ravenous Kalod, and Piranok (probably misspelled) Servant. The next highest drop rate for bosses is 5%, then 3%, 1%, .5, .2, .1.

ya the drop rate on card is just ridiculous, it should be increased by a lot. I remember killing thousands of mobs and never getting their cards. Altough botters seems to have the lucky charm, but they do of course farm 24/7 on multiple toons and you can check your local AH to know who those people are.

Some cards being sold I would definitely suspect botters. On the other hand, not everybody that one may suspect is a botter actually is. For example, because I'm at the point where all I need are the rarer cards, I spend lot of time trying to get them, mainly with a lot of frustration with the occasional 'At Last' or 'Wow, that was lucky.' And in hunting the rarer cards, sometimes you duplicate and put them up for sale. Botting would destroy the accomplishment for me of obtaining a rare card, or for that matter, any card.

And I'll just reiterate what I've said before and a general agreement with Zid on botters. They are bad for the game because what they sell competes with what people sell who do not bot. And because they spent no time or effort in obtaining these botted items, it's basically gaining something for doing nothing.

Yep i totally agree with you ;-) it is just when you see a ton of cards in AH with the same names or a switch of a letter selling them, it seems suspicious. I also hunt the cards i am missing loll, but when i have to buy some of them at 10M each and there is like 15 of them sold by the same person, it's just weird or obvious. Especially when you port to that zone and see them go about in patterns and not being responsive.

The best one i've had is whispering a toon, no answer for 15 minutes, then you get the whisper : sorry i missed your whisper i was afk LOL but the toon was going and going and going loll.
