NPC event announcement?

Did I miss the announcement about another event by the crystal at the central plaza in Varanas?

I have searched the forums and only read one item saying the event NPC's were at the crystal ( and that may have been on the EU forums).

I would also like to know where to get a " warm rock".

It was announced in the forums. I saw it right after they put it in. Think it got knocked down to not being on top of the list by another announcement or something like that.

Warm rock from one of the fire beings in AV. Look down in discussions I think and you'll find thread about it and quests needed for that line.

It was in News and Announcements. [Event] Winter in Taborea Not entirely sure why it didn't show as being a recent post, but it's in there.
