Runes of Magic US / AU

ok not sure where this goes so im asking here. what happened to the old version of the rom downloader it was slow but i recognized it. following the problems i have been having getting into the game i uninstalled it and re downloaded the client to install but now its the gameforge live thing and this game dont need more hoops to jump through to play it it was already was gonna take me 2 or 3 days to download and patch the game so my question is why did rom switch to this gameforge thing is it good or bad does it help or does it make the game download install and patch slower and if slower is there a way to download install and patch with out it cause i haven't needed it until now and i was using the old style rom page thing where i click on the rom icon and the normal window comes up where i click the start button can i get back to that or is this the way it has to be now cause i dont know but im sure it means more hassle for me just to play the game.!!!!!!!!!! BTW this is a question and a rant because it took me 3 days last time to download install and patch the game and that was in 2013 so now being over a year later its probably gonna take me allot longer and that was with the old way not with this gameforge live thing witch i dont know aboout so its a question cause of that and a rant cause all this is giving me a migraine!!! i mean why does therte seam to be one problem after another with this game and its not my pc cause everything else works perfect on it but rom is always one thing after another but realy whats with the gameforge live thing is it better or worse than the old way i would appreciate any feedback on the gf live thing cause its the first time ive seen it thanks for reading this and also for responding for anyone that does.
