XP Disabler?

Does anything like this exist in the database? Or some way to stop leveling?

Good idea with the honor pt. :)

Otherwise, I don't think you can stop leveling, but if you make debt you will level up slower. Just die a few times in a high-level zone.

Also, make sure not to have any xp furniture if you sleep at home.

I actually was wondering this due to the project old school. I mean it is kinda lame if you are trying to be a part of that and have the chance to outlevel it the more you play. :\

That is really a reason I didn't participate cause the more I would do the more likely I would have to reroll

an item that stops you from gaining any exp/tp while you wear it is defenatly something i would buy

If it was a not too expensive amulet that you can put on and take off, I'd buy a few (for some alts).

Oh an amulet that doesn't have durability obviously (don't go getting any silly ideas GF) it's an item you can permanently equip and disable xp gains

It would also be a very convenient item for those who use bots to get production runes, which were always heavily botted items. :) I don't know if that's still the case. I would hope not.

It would be even better if it blocked xp gains without blocking tp.

Besides runes farming, another two reasons are: alts for gobs/minis and low-level pvp.

All these use cases are really minor, by the way. If there was such an IS item I would have some use for it, that's all.

there is 1 more reason also:

when u reach lvl cap, u normally do not gain any exp after. however, if u have EXP bonus from house, it gets drained when killing mobs, even if u r at lvl cap. this indicates that in a coding manner, u "get" exp, the exp-bonus is drained, and just get trashed after.

in short terms, with that item, u can save EXP house bonus even when u r at cap, making it alot easier to lvl up when new cap comes

That last one is an annoying thing. :) Seems like a simple oversight in programming, but to me, it doesn't make sense that your xp house bonus disappears when killing mobs at cap. If you receive no xp, your xp bonus shouldn't be taken either.

ye, i guess the way it is programmed is flawed.

it is coded as if: u r gaining the exp, multiplied x2, bonus drained, then it "realizes" that u cant gain more, so the exp is simply trashed
