Had an account several years ago; lost the email associated with said account

Sometime around 2011/2012ish, I had a Runes of Magic account that I spent a quite sizable amount of time and money on. I quit for a rather long while, and in that time, the email address associated with that account was compromised and lost. As I didn't play the game at the time, I didn't bother trying to get the account information changed, and simply said goodbye to my rather dated email account. Today I tried to log in and realized that I've entirely forgotten my Runes of Magic password, and I cannot recover it by normal means because I no longer have the email address. I'm not totally sure what to do about this. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd be appreciative.

You can contact support. Here is the link: http://support.us.runesofmagic.gameforge.com/

Support will ask you some questions to confirm it's your account, such as your character name, class and levels, some gear if you remember. Answer as many as you can. It is likely they will need to facilitate an email address change, so make sure you register your support account with the same email address you need it changed to on your RoM account.

From here make an account with support. Note that it is best to use the email for the existing account, preferably main accounts. This makes the process easier for us and faster for you. When contacting support please:
-Fill out all of the information that is asked of you, don't skip info if your time and account are valuable! to you!

-Understand we are only able to help the account holder, If your friends have issues have them contact us so that we can help them.

-When creating accounts please store passwords usernames and emails linked to accounts in a secure location. Family members and rl friends can cause trouble if they have access to your account. Even if you plan on taking a break it is best to keep all account information ready for your return. Also though you may be free to play some events require log in information for the Runes Of Magic Website. It will make the process faster. Saving vital account information may save you from sending in a ticket all together.
