can support restore craft level?

A friend had blacksmithing leveled up to 93. And a few days ago ... deleted it by mistake. :dash: (He says that due to a lag he misclicked, but I guess it's not that important now...)

Anyway, our support first replied that they needed to check if he did not get advantage by doing what he did. Then they sent something that is not very clear but may mean that they don't really know how to do this... ;(

Have you ever had such a situation? If so - have you managed to get your crafting skill restored by support? Is it at all technically possible?

The short answer is yes - If you've made a grave error as it sounds like your friend had, under some circumstances, a GM can restore crafting levels. This is not to say that if you submit a ticket it will happen no matter what, but it can be done. It's all up to the support staff and the circumstances surrounding the request. I can't go into details about the exact process, just going to say it's time consuming. Not difficult, but convoluted and time consuming.

Each community support is different as well, different GM's, sometimes a different way of doing things as well.

Thank you Aqua! It really changes the picture to know that it is technically possible.

(And, yeah, I understand you cannot just do stupid tnings and expect the support to keep fixing it. But I think, it's quite an exceptional situation this time.)
