Definitely a typo.

They clearly don't double check what they type. This is the second diamond sale they've messed that up on. *shrug*


Anyways I'd be willing to bet my account it's meant to say "From 06/04/2015, at 00:01am until 07/04/2015 at 11:59pm PDT, you'll receive 140% more Diamonds!"

One last "hoorah" diamond sale before they shut off the anniversary event stuff so you can buy up those jade keys etc, since those go out of the shop April 8th

Or maybe, it's just a copy paste announcement of the one that was supposed to happen on Saturday/Sunday but got postponed until Monday/Tuesday due to the issues on Friday (Saturday for the AU people).

That logic wouldn't make any sense if it really WAS a copy paste.

It's clearly a case of someone not checking their work. I mean getting the dates right is literally the only important piece of information on a diamond sale announcement.

Except that there was supposed to be a diamond sale on Saturday and Sunday. There's been note of the message disappearing since the issues on Friday on the other region's forums that were checking with the AU website for it.

That's all well and good, and i saw the scrolling banner in game too, but you're arguing that the reason THIS ANNOUNCEMENT is wrong is because its a copy and paste from saturday and sunday..which just isnt the case. Because if it WAS a copy and paste from saturday and sunday it would read 04/04/2015 to 05/04/2015 and the DAYS in question weren't even the issue here, it was the month, which is clearly incorrect.

And even if it WAS a copy and paste, which it obviously wasn't, it'd STILL be incorrect BECAUSE the month is wrong (says it ends in May)

Its clearly a misprint of the month from improper checking of the post, and even if it was a copy and paste, the month is still incorrect.

for the record im sure the general message about diamond sales IS just a copy and paste and they change the dates and the diamond percentage accordingly, but the whole issue here was "is the promotion a misprint by saying May 7th as the end date?"..and the answer is yes, it must mean April 7th

Yes, this was a mistype. We've forwarded it to the correct people. I would assume the sale is supposed to end on the 7th of April (aka tomorrow).

That's unfortunately all we can do as we're not in charge of the diamond sales or the announcements that get placed on the front page regarding them.
