Autoshot / Shot

Does Autoshot use Shot at all, or are they completely separate? I had been raising my Shot up, but I only use Autoshot... if they aren't related then I'm going to stop wasting TP. =)

they are different. however, using shot as a filler may be worth the tp.
my r/p can outdps r/m. your name is stupid.

mages should stack dex. word.

It's possible. I've been using Wind Arrows w/Autoshot for my normal questing; mobs go down in a couple hits at my own level. If they're a bit tougher I might open with ranged Charged Chop or Combo Shot. My Wind Arrows could last a good while with Concentration up, and it's only after I'd run out of Focus that I'd move to Shot as an attack.

unless you are s/wd there is very little use for shot.

As s/w I leveled shot up for the 1% + 400 some (increases by 5.5 patk per level lols) and to do the damage as the attack.

If your scout combo does not get any extra benefits from shot, do not use it. It's worfless

I actually am S/Wd, though I haven't used Shot yet. I had always assumed Autoshot was using Shot, so I let that do its thing while I used Wind Arrows (with Frost Arrow up so the first attack would slow the npc). Most mobs would be dead before they got to me. When I start having to face tougher mobs or bosses I'm sure I'll need a different tactic, so perhaps Shot will become more useful.

At level 20, you should have an elite that makes Shot hit twice.
