From what i recall, Bleed-dmg is related to the following three (3) factors:
- character-tab mainhand damage value
- tooltip-skill bleed value
- bleed ticks during the bleed-duration
The character sheet mainhand dmg is defined by
- your mainhand damage
- wrath rune
- gear dmg bonus
- gear set bonus
- dmg buffs
>> Speed buffs/pots/runes do not affect the bleeds and thus bleed-dmg is not defined via ur mainhand dps but ur damage instead.
>> The bleed-ticks is a highly affecting factor in the overall bleed formula. Blindspot for example gives 3 ticks, Shadowstab 5 ticks, SneakAttack 15 ticks. Their bleed values have an approximate ratio of 3:5:15 in practice which indicates the direct recirpocal relationship in the formula.
>> Could make some numerical tests when i m available ingame but i d bet the formula would be something like:
Bleed_Dmg = (Skill_Hidden_Coefficient) * ( Mainhand_Dmg + Skill_Tooltip ) / ( #_of_ticks )
where mainhand_dmg is the dmg value in ur character sheet and skill_hidden_coeff is a (possible) modifier to make some skills having higher bleed effects.
