You want chain, PvE go 100% str/pa. I play both routinely and their play styles are a little different but very similar. For PvE, stamina doesn't matter, most damage is % based, you want gear/stats with as much as possible dmg/patk/crit rate.
What class you decide on somewhat depends on the party you run with, if their are other warriors in the party W/Wd and W/S become better (Tactical Smash/Probing Leach).
Personally I think Wd/W is superior in siege due to the extra physical defense, solo tower capping, immunes and pdef buffs. Plus it's funny to banish Nirvasa's target after he gets E-rage up. For siege you'll need a replacement 7 piece honor gear set if you want to be competitive in the top brackets. Side bonus you can probably tank most content in the game on Wd/W with good siege gear if your guilds tank isn't on.
