To 2H or not to 2H?

Hi ROMers! :)

I was wondering which is actually best to go with, 2H or 1H with off hand item? :confused:



I personally feel that having an off hand piece of gear means another opportunity

to add more stats to your character! ;)



Am I right or not?

btw, I am a M/W.

Really depends on your class, but as a M/W it is certainly better to use a 2h Staff :)

This is because magical Damage is a much greater factor of damage to a M/W as with all int/matk gear your matk will be high enough as is without the use of a talisman as well. The only way I could see wand+Tali is if the 2 choices between 2h and 1h that you have are less than a 10% difference in magical damage. In which case you can use a wand + fire damage tali statted int/matk :) But I do not think that is currently the case so 2H all the way!!!

my guild has atleast Five endgame mages

they all use 2h staff,

i actually do not know of one mage that uses wand...
(altho as a priest/knight i do)

if you gone play both m/w and w/m then get both if you can afford it. If not then get staff.
