Hello there,
I am very new here, and there is a lot i am still trying to figure out,
one of the reason why I went for scout is so that i could use range attacks,
but at this point i am unable to use my bow and my 999 arrows,
the only attacks i can perform is with my dagger.
I am practically level 0 in experience (tech at Lv 7),
so I would appreciate your patience with me.

Hi Thanks a lot Everybody for your kindness and prompt responses, I just couldn't tell the difference of how the game processed the action of shooting an arrow. The skills from the Skill Window (k) as mentioned earlier by +Rukifellth2792, are the actual buttons that initiate the attack of shooting an arrow, the bows themselves on my Backpack ( B ) can only be used to be equipped in the Character overview menu ( C ) and not as attacking commands. In other words, when it comes to hunting with a bow an arrow, The bows and the arrows are treated as equipment. Directly, they cannot be used for engaging the monsters.
To attack with archery, you need range skills (which in fact are the attacking commands) that you can drag from the skills menu ( K ) into the quick command menu (such as in slot 1, 2, 3 etc). You need to equip the bow and arrows before you can use the range skills. I guess my biggest confusion was that the arrows themselves, look just like the skills when it comes to "icons", so i couldn't tell the difference between an attacking command and a piece of equipment (as i was trying in vain to kill a rabbit with a piece of equipment that cannot be used as an attacking command). So to those of you in the future who might encounter the same problem as i did:
A) You must 1st acquire a bow & arrows:

A-1) Go & Talk to Jalinkun (Carpentry instructor); become an apprentice=>

A-2) Get The materials to make a bow (if you dont have one already)

A-3) Visit Samirat [Weapon Merchant] across from Carpentry

B) Then Equip your Bow and Arrow:
B-1) Click "C" and the Character Overview window will pop up

C) Finally Equip your Attacking Skills for bow:

C-2) Hover over the icons, and drag them to the command menu

Now, to do the actual hunting:
Left click a monster (within range)
use the command for activating the skill (1 , 2, 3, etc)
If the target is too far away, skills will show in red.
Move closer to target to use such skills.
