Experience Rate

Hello,

I have a suggestion regarding the experience rate. In my opinion the xp rate is extremely low. I was wondering if there was any way we could lower the rate of xp. IMO I hate leveling once a week. It is frustrating. Especially with three classes. That is why I and many other players would enjoy an increase in xp rate. By changing the amount of xp needed should fix this problem! It is insane that I need 14 mil xp. Another idea would be increasing the xp received for each quest. Thanks anytthing would help.

Levelling rates are just fine...

at 55/36/11 you're levelling once a week? What?

At least this was a polite and calm request instead of a rage-fueled one. I'll give you that. But that's about it, sorry.

I'll refer you to this experience chart.

We already level relatively fast in this game, we really don't need anything to help us blow through the content that much quicker... I will say that we could use maybe another zone to level your third class to 55 or even 60 at the most, but not at the speed of CoO and Xaviera.
And then Keanu Reeves walks in, and he's all like 'Whoa', and we're all like 'Whoa, it's Keanu Reeves!'

You are not even to the hard part yet if you only need 14 million. Wait to try to get to 67 and its what...41 mill? And if your only leveling once a week in those levels your doing something wrong somewhere, you should be leveling every other day, doing dailies on a lower level side should level you daily.

Let me just say I am busy with school and can only play about an hour a day. In WoW I could level at least once in an hour. I guess the xp rate is fine. I'll just close my mouth and wait till next summer to get to 67, but by then I'll have to get to 70. Have a nice time in Taborea. I'm returning to azeroth!

Daily reset tickets sold in the cash shop allow you to run through xp at a much faster rate than normal. There are even addons like DailyNotes that make the daily quests little more than spam clicking.

I am a free-to-play player there really is no other reason I play the game. I think it is fun for the most part. At this point I feel like I will have to pay in order to advance at a rate I would like. Either way I am taking a short break. I love the game and will always play it. Even if I have to stop leveling at 50!!!

I could only imagine how you would have felt about Everquest's experience rate if you think this is rough. A level a week playing 3-4 hours a day was an achievement in EQ lol.

welcome to f2p with a cash shop. If you want something faster, you pay for it. That's how Frogster makes the money they need to pay to keep the servers running.

EVERYTHING can be accomplished, theoretically, without spending a dime on diamonds. It just takes time (in some cases, extremely large amounts of time). If you want it to go faster, you have to shell out for diamonds.

All I want is more quests to do without buying reset tickets :).

Dodga,

Pro tip for you. Accept the dailies that are 10 levels above the secondary/third class you want to level. Complete the quest and then switch to the 2nd/3rd class to turn in. It took me about 2 hours to go from 32-50 on double xp weekend by only turning in quests at least 10 levels higher (up to butterflies of course).

My problem isn't so much the experience rate, as it is with the lack of quests.

Some people say there isn't even enough quests to get one class to 67.. they get stuck at 66 or something.

It's like you almost have to wait for a double experience weekend to be able to level up your class, and you pretty much -must- wait for a double experience weekend if you want more than one class to get to 60ish without spending cash shop items.

I agree that Daily Quest Resets and whatever cash shop crap should make it a faster leveling experience, but it shouldn't be the case that you need cash shop crap to level.

I've been playing another game, and barely log into ROM at all now, but I've been dying to start a Warden just to see how it is and to start playing ROM again... but I've been waiting for quite some time for a double-experience weekend because I don't want to screw myself with quests.

Of course my luck delegates that, finally, the double experience weekend lands on the same weekend that I have to study for Human Physiology and Organic Chemistry exams that are on Monday...

Edit: The game boasts the fact that you can have three different classes on the same character. Let us enjoy that feature. If you keep the features that make this game different from other MMOs un-experience-able by most of the population, what's going to keep us here?
