In-Game Search (case-insensative + wording + etc.)

Below is just a few ideas I had to enhance this amazing feature I just recently found. A spash screen tip about the benefits of the in-game search (BACKSPACE) could bring more novices to use it -- especially in the very beginning. Could see this cutting down on beginners constantly asking where X is!

Case-Insensative:
Being case-sensative hurts the usability and efficiency of the in-game search.

Auto-Highlight on Open:
On opening, automatically highlight the search field for quick access.

Wording:
Instead of saying "Follow", I'd prefer "Mark" as you are marking a location and not really following that ONE person or thing. You can have multiple marks as opposed to following multiple people who may not even be in the same general area!

Query Corrections:
If you mis-spelled a name, RoM could provide one or two closest possible matches.

Multiple Query Strings + Select Multiple Entries:
Have the possibility to search multiple things at once. This could show the relative positions to the objects.

Icon Highlighting:
Something to make the flag stand out. The eyes don't naturally fall to the corners and the flag may tend to blend in for the color-blind. May I suggest something like a summon circle that pulses for two seconds to draw the eyes in?

Occupation Search:
The ability to search by occupation, e.g "House Maid" (or "house maid"). Without this function and looking up the locations on this forum, I'd still be riding across 3 maps to a known location (Aslan Valley to Varanas)!

Suggestion are not sticked, in general, but this is a reasonable one. While I don't agree with some of the specifics (I see nothing wrong with term "follow", eg, and I don't see the value in things like profession search), I do agree with overall spirit. NPC search should be more prominent.
-- Rustyx --- 92R / 92S / 92M on Reni (Guild KnightShift). Yes, running the new FOTM R/M, cause I am not elf enough to be WD/S.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

Wording isn't a game changer (get it?), it was an idea for what I thought was a better terminology. I don't have any problems clicking "Follow".

Query correction would be a little more user-friendly. Like the common English mistake of "e before i", instead of the proper "i before e", the game wouldn't punish you by not searching at all! Or if it's a long name and you forgot a letter. I know you could always pull up the Quest list and follow there, but what if you are trying to help a newbie friend and you haven't done the quest in ages? You would have to manually type it.

Multiple query strings and selecting multiple entries are just time savers. Have all pertinent NPCs and objects in one search screen. So you don't have to toggle back and forth between searches to see which is closest and easier to knock out. Could be useful for Epic Quests which span multiple maps.
