Torrent as downloader

Instead of taking the time to develop a fancy downloader which I assume is to off-set massive downloads, could give the option of using a torrent (or magnet link)!

I'm sure members of the community will be constant seeder, allowing for higher download speeds. Could make a program (not application) that gives seeders a bonus; say you sign up -- give your IP and account info -- and seed for 1 month, you could get 1k phirius tokens or something!

If I remember correctly.

The client downloader is a torrent (just downloaded directly from main Frogster Company in Germany.).

I personally never had a problem downloading the client (both the full and the slim client) in Kuwait or in Spain. Not sure if people in the states are encountering any issues.

Usually it's a client-side ... misunderstanding of your system that causes download speeds to be slow.

Somewhere one of GMs or FMs mentioned that download is using Peer to peer technology so it is not just one huge file from one site.

Not torrent, though. Torrent is a specific technology and I don't think people would be happy if they were subjects to being torrented from while playing the game.
