Merits Vault

The idea is that all merits earned by players are sent automatically into the Merit Vault. This is to prevent the loss of merits. We all crash and lose merits.

Access to the Vault:

1. Either all players in ur guild get access to the vault; which is available
regardless of ur position; like an extra bag.
or

2. The Vault is in a specific place, like the throne room. In which case, it
should be indestructible.

Tbh,

I would rather see Merits as a public guild resource (like crystals etc.).

I never truly understood why they made it the way they did.

By making a crystal-like resource. They fix the problem of having to deal with loss of merits and trading them between characters.

I don't know, this could run into the problem of people spending merits that they shouldn't be spending.

And what if someone wanted to go get herald, but someone else accidentally got too close to the crystal while there were 1K merits in the vault? Then you're stuck with a herald you didn't intend to have.

They could just make it so you have to click on the crystal.

Merits are generated much faster then Crystals, I doubt anyone would hit a point where they ran out.

screw that... I say make it so when you kill somebody, they drop their merits & you can loot em! :D

Make it menu similar to upgrading Flame Towers, so that incidents involving accidentally clicking on it will be avoided.

After clicking the Guild Honor Crystal:

[Make me Herald - Requires 1000 Guild Merits]
[Leave conversation] :p

If you get stuck as Herald, log out. :)

Runewaker: make it so that once the 1000 merits have been paid, if there is no Herald, anyone can go back to the Guild Honor Crystal to become Herald. (as a precaution for those who accidentally become Herald or need Herald in a pinch.)

Though honestly, if someone were to become Herald accidentally through this menu...lol they must really want to be Herald.

remind me never to join your guild or do any runs with you all.

The fact is that siege(and instances) is about teamwork. I know about lower lvled, lower geared teams beating(less dying in instances than) higher lvl, higher geared groups(cant really say teams).

The idea of merits as guild resource is great.
