Please make the Styling Shop accept Gold

Just what it says....
Make the Styling shop take gold as payment rather then diamonds. Diamonds don't go far enough as it is.

They could just implemented the Diamond NPC and fix this problem of wanting to desperately to make your gear nice and glossy.

on the topic of "styling"

id like the option to make my weapons look like any other kind of weapon.

i.e. i use a 2h staff, so i can only agg my weapon to another 2h type weapon. but wat if i want to skin it to say a 1h ax, 1h sword etc, its not an option.

before someone even bothers bringing up the statement "well what about bows, that would be stupid", i agree with that, seeing a rogue stabbing me with dual crossbows would be silly..

but i know im not the only one that likes a few of the 1h axes/sword skins in game, and cant skin them to their weapon

Agreed actually.

And I would like to take it one step further and request that cool aggs be added-
ie:
purses, umbrellas, candy canes, lollipops, dolls.

Would be fun to see my toon hitting someone with a purse or a doll XD.

And suddenly the image of a rogue hitting a boss with dual purses... :D

Really though, I like this idea. The styling shop is pretty expensive in diamonds; it would make a pretty decent gold sink, especially if aggs were added.

Definitely this.

I would like my wonderful Gentlemen's cane to open up as an umbrella as I strike someone.

We already have this agg and this one. I dont see purses being all that out of place. :D

All suggestions that "gee, lets take item shop item and not sell it for diamonds" are, of course, little self serving.

Styling shop, color dyes & aggregations are all "vanity" items and are not required to play the game, hence why they cost diamonds.

I disagree,
They cost diamonds because FA used it to generate diamond sales/revenue. It was a fair item to spend diamonds on before the ridiculous amount of diamonds were required to plus and stat the gear to the current acceptable level.
Following your theory, would it mean buying house energy is a vanity item also?
The game has changed, diamonds used to go a lot further then they do currently and allowing players to spend diamonds where they are needed more is a better customer service plan.
RoM is all designed around the ability to customize your toon. It's not vanity when you want to make your colors or gear a little different, they are after all an extension of the player behind the toon.
I wasn't asking for the Aggregates to be a gold item, but only the coloring of them.
It wouldn't be as necessary if the in game sets weren't so disgustingly ugly most of the time. :P

But I never mentioned Aggregates, I only mentioned the Stying Shop which is not a CS item. It's an in game function to customize colors only.

I personally think some 75% of all CS items should also be available for gold. The difference being, gold is a gamble, diamonds are guaranteed.

Fusion Stones:
Diamonds: get you puris
Gold: give a 0-3 random stat Fusion stone, instead of only 1-3.

Refinement jewels:
Diamond jewels have 100% success rate
Gold jewels gamble with chance to increase, drop, or remain the same.

Styling Shop:
Diamonds get you exactly what you want.
Gold can be used to randomize a particular color until you get what you want.

Runes:
Diamonds you can buy X runes, etc.
Gold, bring back Eve.

Packages:
Diamonds give you real packages.
Gold can get you some Orbs and Gashas.

In every case the overall f2p/p2w model still remains strong. This is my solution to the annoying CS gambling, and also to the myriads of f2p players who see the CS as too much, and quit. If they saw diamonds as an optional, but significant help to their game, most would stick around, and many would go on to become p2p. If they quit, they'll never buy diamonds, and there is no further opportunity to profit from them.

No, vanity is all about "appearances" and has nothing to do with functionality of something. Does coloring your mount black make it faster? No. Does changing your hair red make you do more damage? No. Does making your armor a matching color scheme increase your stats? No. Therefor it's considered "vanity."

Aggregators & Styling shop are the exact same thing, with different properties. Both are intended to change the "appearance" of something so it "appeals" to the creator's sense of vanity.

Changing the look of a bow into a xbow does not increase it's damage; Making a sword look like a dagger does not increase it's speed; Changing a 2h hammer to look like an axe does not make "slash" cause bleeds.
